The problem with my account!

Hi everyone,today i've an issue regarding my SBI(State Bank Of India).5days ago i recieve one sms from SBI,that my account has been created on 12/2/2013,and will be dispatched in next 3 working days.So day before yesterday bank manager called me and asked to come to SBI and claim my passbook,and i did,deposited 1000RS,and after i left,reached my house,i recive a sms that my available balance is 1000RS but after 2hours again i recieve one more sms telling me that ''Available Balance in your Account XXXXX170016 as on 18/02/13 is INR 900.00'',so i want to know why 100RS was deducted,because i open an account of SBI for 1500RS plus the account form charges 100RS,after all once more my balance got deductded.
Can anyone tell me,how much amount an individual need to create an account with SBI?Does the SBI account form charges any Rupees?,and why my 100RS was decreased.

I think you have opened an SB account. There are no charges to open SB account in any Public Sector Bank in India such as SBI. Have you applied for any Debit/Credit Card that need initial fee of Rs100/-? I haven't heard of any initial fee for ordinary Debit Cards. So, contact your SBI branch by phone and confirm. You can contact with SBI Customer Care Center too.

Thanks for responding,and yeah i created a very new account with SBI,and i've never experienced such issues.I haven't experienced before so i've less knowledge about this,but when i was filling a new account form i mark the ''ATM card'' only.Also my ATM card,cheque book,and netbanking details hasn't arrived and i've no knowledge why my 100RS was deducted.
I contacted SBI,repesentative but they asked me my TPIN and i don't know what's this?.
They told me they won't be able to help me unless i provided them the TPIN.

ATM Card,cheque book and netbanking details including TPIN have to reach by post. It may take 7 to 10 days. SBI ATM Card is a Debit Card. Now you can update you Passbook and see details of transaction for Rs100/ deduction. Any excess debiting will be recredited by them when it is noted. So, no need to worry, wait up to your next branch visit or TPIN arrival.

For those who apply for ATM and Checkbook, the initial deposit is Rs.1000 to open an account in any SBI branch. For rural areas I think it is still Rs.500. Few days back SBI deducted Rs.102/- as a annual debit card fees. I think they deduct for the same. But your account is very new so you have to confirm about it. I hope bank officials will resolve your issue once you inform about it.
