I read a book entitled "The 5 Love Languages". My superfriend lend me the book and she said it was a nice book. When I read it, t'was indeed a good one. We are born unique that's why we all have our different love languages. The love languages that I am talking about are "quality time","words of affirmation", "acts of service","receiving gifts" and "physical touch". After reading the book, I learned that my love language is "quality time". This love language is about giving the other person your undivided attention. I can feel that I'm important and loved when someone finds time to see me or to be with me. Everyone has their own language of love that we need to respect. Try this book and find what your language of love is :)

That's absolutely true :) Before letting ourselves love other people we must learn to love ourselves first and know how to value our own. wow! thanks for the greetings but I did not have a good valentine last time.

Wow, thanks for posting this discussion. I've learned something again today. I hope one day I'll come across this book. I don't have time to read books nowadays so I won't be looking for it. Maybe some of our fellow mylotters will try reading this book soon. By the way, welcome to myLot! Don't forget to read the guidelines and the FAQs.

My language of love is understanding and accepting a flaw/flaws. It is never easy to understand the weaknesses and nature of others. It takes a lot of patience and being selfless to do this thing. Some can never tolerate and understand the other 's weaknesses. Some can do it so easily because they are having unconditional love which only few have.

Yes that's true. Being able to accept someone regardless of their flaws will take a lot of patience and love too. Hearing that from you means you are a person who's willing to accept someone whole heartedlty come what may.

Welcome to mylot, and I am very thankful to you for sharing to me such a nice book. I am sure that I will definitely read it within a month as I am having two weeks vacation. The love is the best quality of the organisms be it human or any animal. And hence, it is necessary to know how the love can be expressed and usually in which language and how much we are expressing our love. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU.

Welcome to mylot. Thanks for sharing, love is a unique concept, many associate love with lust, which is just physical, to share love, one must pass as much quality time with the parner, without touching the body, then only one can feel what love is...

Hi Shimaya, We Bangladeshis also love our language very much. A good number of our heroes sacrificed their lives for the sake of our language in 21 February 1952. Then Bangladesh was part of Pakistan. The then Pakistani ruler Muhammad Ali Zinnah announced that "Urdu shall be the only state language of Pakistan". Then our students and young people opposed it and brought out a procession. Police fired and we lost a good number of our heroes. As such, UN recognized the day of 21 February as "Mother Language Day". Now it the day of the world as "Mother Language Day". Have a very nice day.

That's a very good way to make someone feel that you love him/her. Whatever love language we have what matters most is that we are proud to show our love ones we love them and cherish them. right?
