Today i read a poetry and very like it,then i search it on website to confirm the author, some people says it's shakespeare's poetry, but i know his poetry is old English,i think it's not like his style of his poetry. Following is the poerty: you say that you love rain, but you open your umbrella when it rains. you say that you love the sun,but you found a shadow spot when the sun shines. you say that you love the wind, but you close your windows when wind blows. This is why i'm afarid, you say that you love me too.

No, it is NOT by Shakespeare. It seems to be a translation of a Turkish poem, according to this: http://www.notbyshakespeare.com/2011/10/19/you-say-that-you-love-rain-but-you-open-your-umbrella-when-it-rains/ and the original author is unknown. People who attribute it to Shakespeare cannot know what they are talking about! First of all, the style is modern, simple and nothing like Shakespeare and second, umbrellas weren't invented in Shakespeare's day.

Here is the poem in the original Turkish, marked as "Author Unknown" and with the English clearly stated as being "translated by Fatih Akgül": http://www.turkishclass.com/poem_136

"...umbrellas weren't invented in Shakespeare's day." I was going to say, the 'umbrella' reference was the biggest tip-off.

Hi, Owlwings got it again this time, I wonder how he do it. I went through a whole semester wrestling with the meaning of "to be or not to be, that is the question" and I know how The Bard wields his pen. No, the passages are not found in any Shakespearean literature, published or not, it is too modern and the syntax is not right. Glen Frey of The Eagles fame could have written it much better, it almost sounds more like one of their songs.

Yes, I know the lines are not found anywhere in their albums, I am an Eagles fan too, but if they could get wind of it...

Wow, what a poetic presentation, but you missed something you don't noticed that by doing so your teaching us a lesson, that you only accommodate what is applicable to your needs Then along the line what will happen if I will answer, mutual.
