Bayern came to the Emirates and taught Arsene Wenger's Arsenal a masterclass in how to win a Champions League match. They started on fire, scoring after just 7 minutes through Toni Kroos. After 21 minutes they doubled the score through Muller. The game was as good as over at the stage. Arsenal showed a brief fight after the restart scoring on the 55th minute through Podolski. But in the chase for the equalizer, Bayern hit them with the sucker punch of the third goal on 77 minutes through Mandzukic.
And we are in February and Arsenal is already out of the running of all the trophies!! Given the steady decline, next year there might also be no champions league matches at Arsenal!!
Cheers!

yes..bayern gives a blow for arsene wenger and his squad that they should learn hard especially about motivation
there are different class between bayern munchen and arsenal
lukas podolski ofcourse know excatly the difference..
so no wonder, lukas worried that his team had no chance when playing in allianz arena..
bayern play too superb this season..

I think Bayern blow after the Blackburn blow in the mid week might be the last straw in Wenger's story. I think it is approaching crisis time at Arsenal with the fans threatening to turn on Monsieur Wenger. So Wenger needs to pull something real fast here.
Cheers!

I think it would be more appropriate to say Arsenal is in rapid decline. Truth be told, I don't give the London club any chance prior to the match and after 21mins, I am proven right. Everyone knows what is wrong with the club except Wenger. As an Arsenal fan, I have hoped that they will end this season empty-handed and fail to qualify for next season Champions League. This is the only way to force Wenger's and the board's hands to finally address the shortfall of the team. Like they say, sometimes, you have to go down before you can go up again.

I like the last sentence that your said, sjskl. Well, perhaps mr. wenger was wrong when he didn't listen what Van Persie wanted before he leaved to MU, he wanted arsenal to buy some good players to increase arsenal squad, but Wenger didn't listen him

I think the present situation that Arsenal found themselves is due to their decision to let go of their best players, and their mentality that making profit by finishing in Champions League Spot instead of winning trophies is bad. Owners are happy as they are making good money, Wenger is on a fat pay but what about the supporters?
Good discussion ...Cheers!

Yes, the investors are happy, but the fans are not happy. Long term it is not a great strategy for a sporting club. I think this might be the breaking season as if Arsenal fails to make it to the Champions League, then there would be financial implications as well.
Cheers!

Nobody menyangkan that arsenal will lose to within 2 goal at home they emirates stadium by bayern munich. Probably originally game like will run exclamation, disaster but arsenal appeared in minute to 7. Practical bayern munich more strike after that and arsenal occasional harness a counterattack course. Until eventually arsenal lost 3 - 1 by bayern. Seems this result weighting arsenal in leg to 2. If they failed in anyhow side lost hope for title of the season.

I think Arsenal is still in a transition mode , dun think they would acheive much if they have a player that could really change the game like the former Henry did
