Im having this back pain for quite some time now. My friends advised me to go see a doctor because all the symptoms were like the UTI's. So i went and visited my doctor sitting there very confident that my preconceived thoughts were true to the doctors diagnosis after all the tests were made, and that I only went there for a prescription BUT only to hear that nothing is wrong with my back, they advice me to have my lower back be x-rayd for it could be a scoliosis , Since it was closing time, I was scheduled to have my x-ray the next business day which is Monday, I paid already for the xray but when I got home, the pain was gone, I felt good and thought maybe it was just a mere strained muscles brought about by sitting all day at work. But then its persistent in between days, Furthermore, my close friend told me that she too is experiencing the same. So I did not go back to the doctors' office for my x-ray, no more. Btw, the xray costs 400php. :(

Back pain is the worse kind of pain. Go see your dr. Dont wait. never know what it could be caused by. My mom had terrible back pains, went to dr. and was told she had cancer. Im sure thats not same for you. But you never know.

waa Oh my! that's sad :(( and alarming on my part, I researched though, found out the possiblities, and yes spinal tumor is one the possibilities too. Well, it's on my lower back, not the whole part..still ive got to be cautious and no second thoughts now, Ill definitely go back to my doc this weekend. I'm praying it's not the worst case :( Thak you

sure is, I miss her. Dr. say many pains are caused by several different illness. So you can play around. Get it checked out. Take care there.

Well, you can always consult another doctor for a second opinion. Incessant back pains are not to be ignored. Even though it starts to feel better in between, you are not really sure if it will create an even bigger problem in the future. Better have it diagnosed and treated now while it is still early.

why not since you pay for it. You should get what you have paid for. You can use that xray for 6 months in case you need it for new employment or for travel. You will filing a paid leave... so why not?

i reccomend that you have to take xray still and let the test give you an accurate findings. it is not enought that when the pain stops, you will also stop on finding the reason wht it hurts because it might hurt you again. and worst, if the pain you are experiencing is a symptom of more serious illness.
better have it checked that sorry.
