Have this happen to you, that such kind of high profile series doesn't create interest in you. Much can be attributed to India dismal show in recent series. India has nothing to lose, for once at home in so many years. So many series defeat, on more will do no harm to India much tarnished image. Are you in the same mood or just I? Hope every body is in the same mood.

Oh! sorry sir, but I am very much interested in it since the starting of the test match is coincided by my ending of stressful period of annual examination and hence marking the beginning of my relaxation period. And in this relaxation period, the watching this great tour of Australia INDIA match will provide me great relax and pleasure. So you can see , the intense of interest that I am showing to the india australia match.

If India play some good cricket than automatically people will see matches. I remember 2008 series where every body contributed and watching that series was so great. I don't understand why India middle order players are not understanding their roles. They throw away their wicket when they settle. Virat is so disappointing in Test. Hope every body makes run and all bowlers take wickets.

It will be an interesting Test series as both teams are in transition. While for Australia, Ponting and Hussey have retired. Likewise for India, Dravid and Laxman have recently retired. So there will be opportunities and challenges for both teams to come through in this series.

Team india has an advantage this time of home and team strength but Indian team takes match too lightly many times in overconfidence by determining team strength of opposite or situation after it they lost the match or satisfy to interest-less draw,In cricket nothing 100% sure to predict.

I am looking forward to an interesting tough series. India have a decent record at home. Past is past. Indian cricketers are quite capable and can turn things around. Against England, India got complacent after winning the first match and gave too much respect to their spinners as some of they were not in good form. With contact injuries and poor form, Indian team has struggled in recent past. But this is a new season. I am hopeful Indian team will not make same mistakes again. And look to exploit spin friendly conditions against the Aussies.

I think India would be in the mood for a big fightback, and I am expecting one brute of an innings from Sachin(an expression I heard somewhere).

But one thing I can say that this series will give us a lot to write and hence we can increase our earnings. Now Australia has got to a decent score on day one, so the match is slipping from Indian. India has to play really well to get back the belief of audience. One more defeat, people will stop following Test Cricket. And Sachin, every body want to see a hell of a inning from him which seems quite unlikely for me.

The way too much cricket is played these days has led to a slash of interest in cricket. Moreover, Indian team has not been in too much of form, so that also lessens interest. May be, as the series picks up, more people would be watching it.

India will struggle to win this series as well. Though Australia cricket is in transition, new players play with lot of responsibility and their captain is in terrific form and putting his confidence on his team mates. Dhoni is struggling with bat and an age old Sachin is not much use for India any more. It's better to lose a series with some new players rather than losing with old players.

Well,i think there are few reasons for that. One, the high amount of cricket being played these days.More than competition, there are lot of repeats.Plus Indian team is going through a transition period. The youngsters coming in has not been able to show a great strength in things unlike how it happened in 2000-01.Again, the dismal form of over 2 years has also contributed to such a situation. There is a lot of complacency and things. And another outside factor is the general situation in the country and across the world. We are yet to escape from the clutches of the recession and still lags in many areas of economic growth.I am enjoying the match but not series as such.Personal reasons are also contributing to this factors or factor as well.I think we need some mind and happiness to accept things at times.Australia is not competitive as it used to be earlier.Even they are in building phase right now and in search of different options in all departments. There was a time Indian team was tigers at home.I hope that returns by end of this series. And team needs to win things badly and to get things moving for things. But then hopefully things would get better in coming days. Thanks!

Though India may win this test match but the coming series is not going to be easy. Aussies will come hard at us from the next match, so India should take second match, unlike the previous series, very seriously and try to put the final nail in the coffin during the next match itself. But recent three massive loses have resulted in our interest being less. If India batsman find rhythm, interst will be right back.
