Why Is the US 7 Times More Gun-Violent than Any Other Nation?

I saw that statistic in an "UltraViolet"-quiz (though their source-link didn't quite lead to the statistics-source ... had to look for it at http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k=%22gun+violence+by+nation%22+statistics) But they didn't say 'why!' I'm sure there are any number of contributing causes, but what do you think is the leading cause of America's "greatness" in this respect?

I dont think they are... JUs tthe media in the usa reports more of it. its real bad her ein Mexico as well. but media dont report it as much as they are afraid the cartels will do something. Like more killings.. Might be same way in other countries.

We have stripped money away each year from mental health services, our economy is such that parents end up working constantly to make ends meet, and kids are growing up with no decent role models or structure. Or the necessary psychological services needed due to those other factors. It's a never-ending, no-win cycle.

Well, what is money if not the fuel of the work-industry? Why do 'certified non-workers' like me have to bow to it?
