Two day strike on wednesday and thursday

Major trade unions called for a two day strike on Wednesday and Thursday. There major demands being to increase the minimum wages of workers and stop multinational companies to enter Indian markets. In the mean time our country is likely to lose an estimate of Rs 20,000 corer in these two days. While I agree that the demands of the trade unions is fair, but do you think that the government will lend their ears to our cry?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right i see no logic in calling a 2 day nationwide strike as it is in no way help our masses or our country. the petrol prices will increase even if we do such strikes. since international prices of petrol have shot up, we cannot also help. so lets not take the help of these strikes and stay positive about the future.
