India team is in a bit of bother. Its openers are not firing, middle order is equally venerable. Though the inclusion of bhajii and Sachin is assuring, the bowling department looks weak. All in all the Indian team seems to be in a free fall. On the other hand the Australian team seems to rebuilding its reputation of being a formidable team. Clark is leading from the front being the top batsman in the world while their bowlers like Stark are really firing some steam. What strategy should the Indian team apply?

So I see I'm a little late responding to this discussion and can only give a response in hindsight. Anyway, we're now 2-0 up in the series and seem to be good value for a clean sweep. I guess the fresh start after the debacle against England has sparked the players into light. Seems like patience and persistence has paid off.

Indian team will have to start steady batting with new opening pair.second, now team have not their two most dependable players VVS & The wall they were backbone and base of strong batting order, team is mostly dependable on S.tendulkar,Sehwag,Pujara & H'bhajan. In bowling, it is our weakest part so india have to bowl well,Pujara could be a trump-card for team india.

Hi mbera.
I am not sure who else are in the squad but I am pretty much confident in the Indian test team. Bowling section has always been a problem but I think the Batsmen would pull it off. What happened to players like Pujara and Jaffer. They are wonderful test match openers. India is in re building phase. And I believe this series will be the one where the new Indian team would come out of its pupae.
Have a nice day !!
