Many of us, specially those with "sweet tooth" always tend to turn into chocolates when they feel unhappy, stressed out on anything and everything. Not to be questioned, chocolate is indeed one of the best comfort food.
Personally, that sinful dessert is the only food I need whenever I feel burned out, hurt, stressed and down or just plain hungry and craving. Its magic of comforting transforms me from being a helpless soul to a courageous, new and brave one. Although expert says (my mom included) that chocolate can cause serious health problems when taken too much, including the world lifestyle problem for obesity and have caused health illnesses like diabetes, many of us still tend to indulge themselves of at least a bar a week of this sweet food.
Its kinds have grown as fast as generation changes. From a simple cocoa into a sumptuous bar, chocolate has now evolve on different kinds of treats we re enjoying these days. Whether it's a frozen shake, an ice cream, concoctions, crepes or even junk foods, one will surely enjoy not just the taste, but the feeling of relief it gives us.
How about you? Have you indulge a chocolate today? :)

I love chocolates with nuts (even choco ice cream with nuts) and will always be indulged with it even if I am in good mood. I am consuming much of it when I am upset or depressed. It's one of my comfort foods.

mee too! especially macadamia nuts, walnuts, and the most- cashew nuts! it gives the chocolate a perfect blend as while the chocolate is meting inside your mouth, you are chewing the crunchy nuts. :)

Of course eating too much sweets can contribute to future health problems. So everything must be in moderation. I sometimes indulge in chocolate since I love chocolate too, but I eat in small amounts just the right to fulfill my cravings for the day. And drink lots of water too after.

Talking about chocolates, you can count me in!
I drink hot chocolate in the morning. I love
chocolate with nuts, especially the famous
Ferrero Rocher. One will do for a day, too much
of it make me feel guilty though. Chocolate cakes
is my favorite dessert too.

I lov chocolates. It instantly lifts up my mood whenever I feel down, especially during my time of the month. It is also something that I always carry with me whenever we travel. It settles my tummy whenever I get motion sickness, or if I get hungry and I just need something for an immediate boost of energy if the next stop or meal that we can get will not be until hours after.

definitely true rain. scientifically chocolate can really boost our body's spirit and a good source of energy. I remember my friend's Dad who is a mountaineer always have a bar of chocolate on his pocket whenever he climbs. He actually indulge on it everytime he and his team takes a break. a bar of chocolate and a bottled water is perfect for that adventure.

I am a chocolate lover myself, especially the dark ones. But I have somehow tamed on eating them. Coz I know how bad it would do to my body. I used to buy them when I go grocery shopping, but now I have that under control. During Christmas, when relatives from abroad come home, that is when I get a lot of it and yes, that is the time when I eat more than necessary. Guilty me!
