The overall world economy was not so good. This could be the reason
where more applicants compare to job availability. So it become very
competitive. Pray and never give up. Keep applying and I believe you
will find a suitable one. Perhaps you should look for job that suits
your qualification and always be prepared when you go for job interviews.
Search online on the companies that you are going for interview to show
that you are keen to work with them. Know their business and always
brings your smile and confident with you.

I checked that the author is from Philippines, while overall world economy might as well like you told you so but I think we could still find Job that fits within our background. Here in my country I will always found a foreign company outsourcing their work here because it got lower rates than in their country. That strategy still work up until now. So for a fresh graduates it's a good opportunity to apply as long as you had moderate English conversation skill.
But if we can't find it offline we can always try to found them online. Of course some of them requires you to learn extra skills.

Where are you at? I'd say it's really hard to find a job right now but you still have to keep trying. I remember when it was almost graduation day, my friends and I were like busy printing resumes and browsing for companies that we can apply to. It was not easy then and it had not become better now too.
It is easier now only in terms of applying for a job online, before we had to go to a building and leave our resumes worth the guards and hope it reaches the human resources department.
Maybe you b can do b this to. Go to b the companies website and apply through there. I am b sure if you b remain persistent you would be v rewarded soon enough with b interviews and do your best from there.

Hi,
Don't lose your hope. You are trying and you should not lose your hope. Try again and again till you get the job. Sometimes we do not get success then we lose our hope. But it is said that sometimes the last key of the bunch opens the lock. Be positive and you will get a job soon.

Don't give up and keep trying. How about calling up those companies that you put resume's and applications to and see if they received your application and resume and see if they would like to set up an interview. Yes, it is really hard to find a job, but as long as you keep trying you will eventually land one. It took me awhile to find one too until eventually I got a job that I love.

First, try to check if you've managed to make your resume presentable, because this is the first thing that employers will make judge of. Considering that they haven't met you yet, your resume will serve as your means in marketing your skills. Second, properly consider the qualifications needed by the company, and see if you're qualified for that specific job. Lastly, just keep on looking. You will never know if you're gonna stumble upon a job that is suited for you. Apply as many times as you can, and be patient in waiting. Everything will fall into place.

Everybody knows it's tough out there just keep trying till something comes along. In the meantime why not try to create your own work by offering some type of service for a fee. Or if they have day labor or temp services you can signup and do that till something comes a long.

What about trying the world of business? You can start small. If you don't have capital, there are business opportunities where you can start doing business for just a small amount of money. And as your business grows, and so your income grows. You can't find a job, right? Then create a business, and then create jobs.

if you are living in the Philippines well then I will say it is normal. yes job is a competition here. and there is always a age limit, specialization. Mostly here who get job instantly have a 'baker' or relatives close friend who works in the company she is applying in.that is the system here.

Just keep on trying. The economy is not doing well, but it is not really hopeless. Just hang in there and something will come along for you. For the mean time, do some researches or even online lessons to increase your skills, and thus increasing your hire-ability. Revise your resume if needed. Put a professional picture in it so the hiring managers can put a face to the name. Stand out from the sea of resumes and applications by sending a resume with your picture on it. Seek help from friends or people who are well-versed in writing resumes. Don't rely on the MS word template as chances are, the rest of the applicants will be using it too. Your resume would then seem like just another resume. Take advantage not only of online job search sites, even the newspaper may be a source of employment. I remember one mylotter here who had no luck in her online job search but when she tried their newspaper, she immediately got a call and ended up getting the job. Spread your contacts, let everyone know that you are in search of a job. Contact classmates and friends and have them help you look out for any rumor of job openings. Get all the help that you need. Do not be shy, after all, you know you will do your best, right?

Well I tell you this, the job that I wanted was took over 2 years before I have this job offer.. But well if you really want to get that job that you like, you have to wait and be patient like me. Meanwhile, of course I have allot of experienced from that 2 years so, just enjoy the more days to come and just explore the things you might like.
I'm applying for an I.T. job for over a year but I guess my fate doesn't getting me there, so now I found what I like, I love and I have my passion in gambling card games so that's why I tried to apply for casino dealer and now I will start my job this march 1.
Nothing is impossible, sometimes you have to take the risk. Get out of your comfort zone, dream and make that dream possible. :)

Hello there ! that is just one of life's reality , just hold on ! It is still 1 month too premature to surrender . Keep on applying and applying , one is waiting for you , chase for that patiently . I believed any good thing is worth working and fighting for , that good things don't just come easy. It is so okay to apply as many offices you wanted , as long as you accompany it with fervent prayer and trust to God. You are still very young , long long way to go ! Just enjoy life ! God will bless those hearts having good intentions.
