I talked to a friend last night and what a nice feeling it gives me when you help ease someone else's pain...
He was broken-hearted. And he was so thankful that he has someone to share with all his pain and anger....
he was grateful that someone listened to him and gave him some encouraging words to live by, so he can move on!!!!
I feel happy, because i helped someone yesterday!!

I guess that is what friends are for, always ready to help especially if needed. A shoulder to lean on and always available to listen. Yeah, it's a great feeling when you have help someone to lessen the burden, giving words of encouragement that it's just natural, in fact many have experienced the same thing but they have move on and found happiness. Maybe the one who caused him pain is not the right one but definitely he will find someone who will be.

Yeah, it's a fulfillment if we have comforted and lessen someone's suffering. Giving assurance that all is just a test, not to dwell with it but move forward is the right thing to do.

Well, the ones that still appreciate when you are trying to help them and offer some advice, these are good times. I know many times especially when my husband and I have time to work with the homeless, it is always a rewarding time when we leave them knowing we helped make their day. But anytime you take time to help someone it is Good, and should help show you just how needed you are to someone else.

Hi!
It was great on your part that you were available to listen to your friend's grievances and he could come out with pent up emotions and could share it with you. It is a human tendency when someone gives us a patient hearing, we feel relieved even if he is not able to solve our problems immediately.

Thank you so much for this discussion
Yes when one talks with sympathy to a person who is sad for any reason like sickness, broken heart, he/she feels good and happy, you did a good job lol.

It is really important that we surround ourselves with some support system through friends whenever we are down. Just imagine what could have happened if we have nobody but negative people around us. Sometimes, we don't even need advices, sometimes we just need someone who will listen without judging us. That alone is enough to make us feel better and that we are not alone.

What else can I say/? Well it gives a smile to my face reading your discussion Myles haha well that could be a good start for a special friendship with him. You're single, he is too. LOL kidding aside, yes it's indeed a great feeling being able to help your fellow friends and more. All he needs in this very moment in his life is an open ear and a genuine friend who is ready to listen, empathize and care. He is blessed to have you! :)

Hi,
You are a nice person. You shared your friends sadness and made him happy. It is also a nice feeling that someone is with us to share my sorrows. By telling someone about sadness also a great relief from the burden of sadness. We should always try to give support and encouragement to others so that they feel happy and get the strength to face their problem.
