I used to collect coins. But not anymore these days. The coins I collected are mostly not the legal tender anymore. In other words, I cannot use them to buy things. I don't even know if they still have value.

Yes I am. I collect many coins from many countries. There are some old coins I got from my father's garden. I sold them on ebay with a very high price. Who knows there will be a rich coin collector that would buy my old coin.

What a very nice collection Doris! Some old coins can be exchanged for higher value.Like the 5 peso coin (Ferdinand Marcos) can be sold for 700. You might wanna try checking www.sulit.com for some info on old coins.

Hi dorisday, coins of different countries are collected to fulfill the hobby. You can collect different types of coins of different countries and all these collections give you pleasure. You can show it to your relatives and friends. Yes, I have collected a good number of coins of UK, Italy, Czech Republic, France,Germany, DR Congo, Uganda, UAE, KSA, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. Have a very nice day.

You might want your old coins appraised. Some of them have value and would even cost thousands depending on how rare and old it is. Don't part with them yet until you are certain of their value. Lots of museums and professional coin collectors are willing to pay good money for the right kind of coin.
