About a month ago my mom got a memory foam pillow to help her sleep and to help her neck. I laid in her bed the other day and her pillow was amazing. I also get neck problems a lot and I thought that I would need to get a pillow like that too.
The other day my dad went to Walmart and he came back and said he had a present for me. The present was a memory foam pillow! When I came home from work that night I was so excited to try out the new pillow. It ended up working really well and it was like sleeping on a cloud. I also feel like I got really good sleep. Lately, sleep has really been an issue for me and I constantly wake up in the night, have nightmares, trouble falling asleep, and I'm always tired during the day.
With that pillow, I was able to sleep in and get good rest. The same thing happened to me today too. I woke up a few times this morning but kept going back to bed. When I woke up it was almost 11:30! I never sleep that late but when I woke up I felt great and well rested. I'm in love with that pillow now

Maybe that's just what I need. I would wake up sometimes with my back aching and the back of my neck stiff. I think I have two great pillows but lately it seems they do not actually offer the support that I need when sleeping. I do not have problems going to sleep, just that I don't want to wake up in pain anymore.

I don't always wake up with neck pain but some mornings I do find my neck is a bit stiff...and I'm only 20! So far this pillow has been great and I don't know how I'll ever be able to sleep on a regular pillow again

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is so nice to hear about the pillow and i hope all your sleeping issues would be sorted out by using the pillow. I think that pillow has worked wonders for your mother and has certainly worked for u also. it has become so close to you in few days and that is a great thing.
What say?

It is good that you found a pillow that helps you sleep at night. i have that same problem myself as I wake up at night, look at the clokc and go back to sleep. I have back problems, so finding a pillow that hlps my back has been a challenge. the pillow I am using now, sin't a memory foam, as frankly, I have used those, and they never helped. Anyway, the pillow I have now does help me to sleep bertter, and I can give my back some support at the same time as well. I am like you too, in the fact, i end up sleeping during the day, and I hate that. maybe one of these nights, i will be able to sleep all night and not wake up until morning at 6:00 am. Take care, and have a great day.

I don't really know much about pillows to help back pain :( But my chiropractor has always told me that the best position to sleep is on your back. I've tried many times and i just can't fall asleep lying on my back. I'm not sure how the memory foam does to help backs, but I do know that the past few nights it has worked wonders on my neck and I wake up feeling great and refreshed. I still wake up in the night a lot but at least I have a comfy pillow now

There's a bunch of pillows at home with varying thickness, and varying softness, but I don't think I have a memory foam pillow. I've narrowed down the best pillow for me as something not too soft and preferably not thicker than 3 inches. I like my head elevated, but not too high.
Maybe I'll check that memory foam pillow the next time I go to Wal-Mart.

I'm the same way. Too thick of a pillow will hurt my neck but too flat of a pillow is uncomfortable. This new pillow is perfect and is so comfortable to sleep with. I still have trouble falling asleep sometimes but as far as pain in my neck goes, this pillow seems to be doing the trick

that is true that having many pillows in our bed will help us to sleep well and to feel more comfortable, sometimes i have three pillows in my both side to help me to sleep well, sometimes it makes me lazy when i have them in my side because my head always wanted to lay with my pillow.

That might be something I'd like to have. I have a hard time sleeping and my pillows are flat. I'm in dire need of new pillows.

I would definitely give this pillow a try. I thought the pillow I had before was good but once my dad gave me this pillow I realized that my old pillow wasn't as good as I thought. I find myself having problems sleeping and this pillow seems to keep me asleep for a while until the early morning hours when I wake up and then have to fall back asleep.
