poor,poor cat---I really felt bad for that cat

This morning as I was heading downtown taking a public transport I saw a cat that was limping or having difficulty walking. Then I noticed that something heavy is tied to one of its hind legs. Oh my. So many things came to mind because the cat looked like the one that a friend lost many months ago. But if I stopped to help it, I am sure it would be scared and also I was thinking that the cat might bite me. I really felt bad for that cat. Whoever did that cruel thing should suffer the consequences of his actions.
To make matters worse, I saw another one later in the day, a cat with a huge scar on its back. It seemed like it got hit by a huge knife or something.
Why are people so cruel to animals?

I know I ask myself that a lot, I hate it, how would humans like it if they were treated cruelty, the same cruelty they treat animals with? No they have rights, and they think because animals don't have rights and aren't important it gives them the right to be cruel to them. Stronger deterrants need to be put in place to punish these people.

So bad. I really dont understand why people do this to poor animals. Did you help the cat. I mean i didnt understand whether you helped it or not.
Many people see these creatures as play things. They too have life why dont they realize it.

This type of abuse to animals is disgusting and cruel. Some people shouldn't own animals or play with them or have anything to do with them. The ones that did this to those cats should suffer like the cats are. I'm sorry you felt you couldn't call animal control because of how far away they are. Is there anyone you can call to help the cats? Do you know how the cats are now?

I am not a big cat fan because I am allergic, but I sure don't like seeing animals getting that kind of treatment. They don't deserve it. If pet owners cannot care for them anymore, I wish they will just put it up for adoption rather than just abandon them or worse, treat them like that.

Some people should not be allowed to own animals. There should be a screening process or something. A few years ago in my town, there was a guy who was dragging a pit bull puppy down the street by its neck and beating the hell out of it because he claimed that it had to know who its owner was so it would respect him. Idiot. Its sad that anyone is allowed to care for a living creature.

im sad when reading this..
its similar happen to my cat before, when we had a canteen on the market i had a cat there, our canteen is his home. I really love that cat, one day I took someone cut the tail of my cat its like 3-4 inch they cut off.. I felt bad for it and i never stop asking neighbors canteen and other peoples there what happen and who is the person do that kind of evil doings.

I'm curious....why didn't you call the local animal control center and tell them about the poor cat? There are so many people who shouldn't be able to own an animal at all. There should be some kind of test that you have to go through to be a pet owner. I'll be thinking about that poor kitty all day! I hope someone walking by him will help him.
