Looking for a good book

I hope somebody here can give some recommendations for a nice book to read, but I am afraid I am may be very picky.
I am 27 and have not read a lot of books and I think I have to start.
Any suggestions?

I love to read. There have been many books that I enjoyed. I am a avid reader of Stephen King. Anything he has written I have read and can't wait for his new book next month. But I really enjoy reading the series of Left Behind. It is a great read. There are I think like 40 books in the series. I am on book 6. I just started reading them like 3 months ago. I just couldn't put the book down. They are awsome.
