Is there a way to sue the media to get them tell the truth and nothing else but?

Insinuation's, only checked out and verified truth! The government regulates the media and there "Truth in advertising". Laws in place ,and we the people regulate the government (that is if the laws of the constitution are obeyed )Also isn't deliberate omission of truth to protect the guilty, a form of deception and certain danger to our way of governing?

I was in 6th grade when the teacher asked us to bring in a newspaper article. In class, we were asked to decide what the reporter's bias was. I was shocked! You mean reporters don't just report the facts and nothing else?
I think there should be more oversight. I think if a reporter reports an out and out falsehood there should be consequences. But leaving some of the story out, and putting more emphasis on the items that support their point of view? How would you regulate that?
