Egyptians have always been known for their unusual yet very unique use of pigments for their monuments, walls, art, and statues. Their women used it for makeup as well. Apparently, science is now revealing something that I have found very interesting in their use of ancient Egyptian blue. The article, from History.com (History Channel), states that it may have good use in our modern day applicatons through cutting edge technology.
I love learning about ancient Egypt and their art alone is brilliant. The use of the Egyptian blue in our technology could prove to be very useful as the article clearly states it can be used in our devices such as remote controls. I'm familiar with calcium copper silicate but had no idea of how it can be broken down into what we call today nanosheets.
Imagine how intelligent and smart this would affect us today.
What would you like to see used today that was used back in ancient days for our technology?
