This being one of Sytem of a Down's most played and known songs, I find that it's this type of sound that rushes my blood. The funny part is that I find myself listening to it and similar music around this time of night; MIDNIGHT. I know to everyone else that is just crazy but at night is when I am most active and it takes a song like this one with such a strong beat to move me. I actually will find myself getting up my from my chair to bust a move.
While the rest of the community is in deep slumber, I'm getting my groove on.
Why something like this? Why this song? Night time is MY TIME. It's the time that I don't want to deal with stress. It takes a song like this one, especially a starter like this one, to get my body to relax for the night.
Do you listen to hard music at night to help unwind stress/anxiety? It really does help me.

WOW! I'm surprised Lamb hasn't stopped by to wash your mouth out with soap.......that's SOAP, the bar stuff you wash your skin with, not SOAD, which is how most System Of A Down fans refer to System Of A Down.
.......anyhoo........I guess it's up to me to edumacate you......
Down With The Sickness is one of the most played songs by DISTURBED!!!

SOAD's most played song is probably Toxicity....

I'm soooooooo embarrassed. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I was looking at the WRONG VIDEO LINK from YouTube. I did this late last night. Lamb you should have just texted me or report the discussion and text me that you did for it to be taken down. It's too late now.
I wish it were a class lesson Bear but I had no idea I screwed up.

Im not into hard music at all here. Im more of a soft country music lover. I also like some mexican artists, but no bands or hard rock music.

Thanks for the reply but I misquoted who sings the song I mentioned in this discussion. I like to listen to country as well. Hard rock is more my mojo.

I listen to hard music all the time because my favorite genre of music is metal. Heavy music makes me relax and I really enjoy everything about it especially if I really enjoy the singer. I do have to tell you though that "Down With The Sickness" is by Disturbed not System of A Down. System of A Down does however have a lot of great songs that will probably give you the same feeling if not a better one.
I've loved System of A Down since I was a little kid and their toxicity album was the first cd that I bought.

*Is completely embarrassed*
It wasn't totally my fault. The link I had from YouTube was what got me confused, plus, it was late.

HOW COULD YOU? MIX UP DISTURBED WITH SOAD/ THAT IS BLASPHEMY!!!
Anywayz, you know me I listen to the harder stuff most of the time.
Cradle Of Filth, Disturbed, Sevendust, Device, Lamb of God, etc. etc.
I do go back to my tween years sometimes but that isn't TOO often.
