Yes, this is Sachin. 'The God' replied with his bat. A brilliant half century from Sachin Tendulkar in the first test of India v/s Australia at Chennai. Many of the criticizers were pointing their finger to Sachin's career. Many of them base lined him that he cannot play more. So here is the answer from him.He is still the best batsman in the world. Now who says he should retire? He is not capable to play in team India?

Yes Sachin played majestically today. His hardwork in domestis is being paid down. I was the one who was criticizing him a lot. You could see my discussion but much has to be attributed to the pitch. Pitch has nothing for fast bowlers. If Aussies has two good spinners than they could have tested Sachin. I think tomorrow Clarke and Lyon is going to bowl in tandem.

Was it any surprise. He's been preparing for this series in particular for some time now. He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone but surely his critics will keep quiet for some time now. For someone who's carried Indian cricket on his shoulders for over 2 decades, he surely deserves more support from people but I believe he's become a victim of his own success.

Well,i agree that Sachin has answered his critics well.He played effortlessly and quite easily today. The timing and placement was exquisite. There was no struggle for runs and no question on form whatsoever. The things were simple and he did not try anything hard or fancy. He hit the bad balls and took singles and doubles whenever possible.Test matches are not for explosive batsmen.Like Gavskar said it separates men from boys. And well Sachin is a giant among those men.I do not think he would retire for another year to come.He still has the fire in him to play.A good knock tomorrow and that should do well for his confidence and get things into rhythm for him.And also Aussies rely too much on pace than spin and that might not help this time provide we as a team play very badly and pathetically. But then, there might be a home ground advantage for most of the players including Sachin. He might find it difficult in South Africa or in any bouncy tracks. But then we should enjoy each of his innings and his moments. After all Sachin is Sachin. His contribution tomorrow could be a deciding factor tomorrow. Thanks!

Yes its great to see Sachin back in form after a long time and this will surely give some strong reply to all his critics out there. The hard work he has done in domestic cricket is clearly showing in his batting display. He continued from where he left in the Ranji matches and collected three boundaries from the first four balls he faced. Till now he is the only one which is facing the Pattinson with ease.
As far as the Day 3 is concerned he got out at the score of 81 but he lifted India out of trouble and now its all up to the likes of Dhoni and other batsmen to take the score further.

Every Indian wanted to see this, Sachin 'God of Cricket' to make a comeback. It was very depressing hearing that he should retire from all forms of cricket. Now he has almost answered his critics, Please sachin score at least 100 in this match :)
