Lending Helping Hands

In the present days of hectic activity and faster lifestyles, who would voluntarily opt to help a fellowman? It is most unlikely that help from the near and dear ones come out in times of dire need. Who would realize the blessedness of lending out possible help to those in need? It is beyond doubt that letting out help within one's capacity is a blissful act of grace.

It's hard to trust now days. In times of dire need I think people in my community are very giving and kind. I have seen stories on the news about such things. We have churches on every corner it seems like. A blissful act of grace it is. Makes a person feel good to help another person in need.

I agree. In times of pressing need, you will be surprised by everyone's capacity to help. It will restore your faith in humanity.

I hope that all people are lucky enough to live in a community like I do. They are so kind and generous. I hear it in the news all of the time.

Indeed in this busy world, where everybody seemed to be on the internet, or playing games in their gadgets etc. it seems that helping a fellowmen becomes a disturbance to others. Though, i noticed that even when you are in FB you can also help by liking a site that needs your like to be able to raise money for a cause. That's because nowadays, it is known that many people are always in FB, or the internet. So, they make a way to ask help through the net too.

I live in a Sr. Citizen building where just about everyone is way older than I am. My next door neighbor frequently needs help getting in and out of her apartment because she uses a walker. Whenever I am in the hallway and see her I help her with her door and keys. It makes me feel good to help others who aren't as fortunate as I am.

I believe in 'a friend in need is a friend indeed' and 'a relative is true relative if he really helps you when you need it'; the help may not be monetary though. In 1986, i broke my hipbone was in bed wearing plaster cast from chest to toe for 2+ months and was in bed for very long time gradually my relatives and friends stopped visiting me, lest i may ask for money we live in a selfish world my friend.
