Mylot population is increasing very very slowly

Why do you expect MyLot to be as popular as Facebook? It is NOTHING like it and serves a completely different purpose. People who come here purely with the idea of earning money generally don't have a clue what a discussion is and so very often go away disappointed. MyLot DOES have 'levels' which have an effect (indirectly) on your earnings. The Discussion Ratings System is factored in to the earnings algorithm and ALSO decides your 'star' rating (or MyLot Reputation). It is absolutely true that, the more that you learn how to discuss with quality, the better you are likely to do.

hi anilhclites mylot is not facebook as it never was one for being really popular li e facebook as thats not what it was built for.It is for people who want something more than just inane chatter and liking some one. Here we talk about really important at least to us issues and we are paid for it. MyLot is not broken so why is everyone wanting to fix it" I say leave it the heck along and just fix any glitches otherwise let u s have this unique one of a kind site called my lot. Easy to use and very addictive once you learn the ropes here.I sway leave ik alone let ik be its one of a kind and needs to be let alone to be what it is. a haven a self therapy place, a friendly place where we can always walk in and know we are welcome here.

Well I think that's normal. Maybe this is not a huge population because most people prefer to sit in Facebook and read things and write there. some do not know that there is a website for making money. site where you can write and read at will. nice day!

I think mylot already does increase earnings as I've observed when i was new here my earnings are so low and slow but now, when i type up something. I dont type up as much now but then i feel its increased in value. T the moment, i can only type up and respond to on an average of around 5-6 discussions per day because I've become so busy. I dont mind that its not as popular as Facebook. The people on here may not be mainstream, but you're sure that they are insightful people

mylot is not like a social networking site, I think mylot is a popular site too but some people ignore it only, not because they not like forums, besides they more likely want to meet many peoples, talking to them without any terms and conditions, sharing testimonials, and also for making a love life... thats only my opinion.. thanks..

I think it is good to have more and more people in myLot. I think when there are lots of members most probably there would be more and more discussions as well as more and more earnings and more and more responses.

There is no comparison between the two sites that you mention at all. MyLor is a discussion site but it appears to be obvious that you have no idea what that means as 2 hours have already passed since you posted this topic for discussion and you are nowhere to be seen. Many others join and then expect another Facebook and then are disappointed. Others don't join just because they have to do something with quality here, unlike on Facebook where anything goes. As was explained in a previous response, if you even bothered to investaigate and understand how things work here then you might find it better than Facebook. This a fun site and the fact that myLot pay us is a bonus. It is not a get rich quick site and never was intended to be such.

You know what that population number really doesnt matter, because many of them are either inactive members who have not logged in for months or years. There are others whose accounts were made inactive my mylot or they could not start new discussions and therefore have other accounts. So that population number really doesnt matter.

Thanks for starting this discussion. I was also thinking about this as many other social networking sites are paying better than my lot. There is no doubt that my lot is an excellent social networking site. But if some rates for discussion are incrased, then may be more people get attracted here Happy my lotting.

How do you see how many people are on mylot or any other given site?

In my opinion, mylot is way different from Facebook or Twitter. Mylot is a kind of forum type of social networking. There are people that will sure like Facebook and Twitter for making friends and sharing for anything like pictures tagging, commenting for just one word which we cannot do here in mylot. Here, if we make comments we make sure, it is more than one sentence or your comments will be deleted.

myLot is discussion site will it be popular like FB that full of drama? I don't think so, this site members is increasing just not a fast growing like others community at least here are paying not like FB so is better like this don't ask more then this as it's already good with paying better then nothing

For me, that is necessary. I have never made a penny from Facebook, nor from MyLot. I don't even have an account where any earnings could be deposited. Money has never been the object.

Mylot will not be popular because most of the people around the internet didn't believe they can make some money on participating any discussion and share something that they know education and teach other for the discussion that we can post.

Well, first of all I have to say that I really don't expect the population of mylot to increase with the same kind of speed that places like facebook have exploded. The reason that I don't expect this is because of the fact that I don't really think that mylot is the same as facebook or really any other social networking site for that matter. I think that mylot is growing at a rate that is right for mylot because the majority of people in the world are not interested in making money from their computers.

MyLot is more like LinkedIn except we get paid at MyLot and actually there are moer discussion topics that can be chosen from so quality over quantity may apply in this instance

It is probably because not all can sustain the level of commitment to the site as well as be able to follow the strict guidelines of Mylot. Some would think that they can just post anything without having to follow any rules. And that makes Mylot different from other sites.

Well, we cannot please someone to stay in some networking sites like this. Facebook is more popular then Mylot because it is more on socializing and not for earning. Sometimes Facebook is a tool to brag something like posting something new with them. But I want your idea that Mylot should improve its features.
