I have a laptop!

Oh blue! Congratulations! You won't know yourself with a laptop. Good idea keeping your desk top as a back up.. It can't hurt and you never know when you might need it.. I hope you don't.

Woo Hoo! So happy for you. I got a laptop last time too and love it. I even had it up in my craft room today while I made cards...I can check online while I work to find ideas!

lap tops are great but a word to you if your going to use it as your only computer then buy your self a cooling fan to help out your fan other wise you might have to be like me and replace the fan

congrats, now you can surf internet even in the mall using wifi. laptop is more compatibe to use than desktop, you can bring it anywhere in one place. unlike desktop you stay it only in one place.

So do i . I have got my first laptop during the Spring Festival. My mom bought it for me as a New Year`s gift .I love my mom and my laptop.I just wanna learn more knowledge on the internet .I promise , no computer games !~

Hi blue, Congratulations! I got my laptop used also from the guy that fixes all my computers. It was dirt cheap and I love it! Just a word of advice...don't get rid of the desk top at all. I kept mine stored in a closet and I was so so glad that I did. a couple of times my computer needed work and I was grateful to have the back up. Once a drink got spilled into it and killed the motherboard and that cost over 100.00 to repair. Since then there have been no drinks near it. Well, till the other day. I was packing to move and I momentarily set my coffee cup next to it while I cleared off the entertainment stand. Out of nowhere, in barrels my 2 yr old grandson and crashes into the desk, sending the coffee flying onto the computer. Luckily it was a travel mug and only a small amount got into the keyboard. My computer guy checked it all out and looks like I lucked out this time.

That's great! I'm thinking about a laptop for my next computer. Mine is a dozen years old and probably only has a year or two left in it. I would love to be able to work in front of the television or--although I know it's counterproductive at bedtime--relaxing in bed before I sleep. I could get a lot more done.

Wow! Congratulations! Now you can work anywhere. Ever since I started working online, I am already using my one and only laptop so I am really taking care of it. I don't have my own place at home so I have to work at the kitchen most of the time especially when everyone is still sleeping. I am planning to have my own workplace at home also but as of now it is still a plan. Have a great day blue!

Good for you! And yes, keep the computer table for now. It will be useful for a lot more stuff and not just to "house" a computer. It can be a study table or something to put your stuff and even a permanent spot to put your laptop to when not in use.
