Kohli and Dhoni both hit tons to ensure that India takes lead in the first innings of the Chennai test. Kohli threw his wicket away after scoring an impressive century, but Dhoni has stuck on to his task and is still unbeaten playing with the tail. As we go into the last hour of the 3rd day, India already have a lead nearing 100 runs with two wickets in hand. Any lead of over 100 runs would really put in the driver's seat in this match.
Cheers!

yeah,India is having now a lead of 104 runs and still 9 overs of play remaining in the third day. Kohli and Dhoni had a very good tons and Dhoni is still going strongly and only 3 runs away from his doube century now. Definitely can say that India is in the driving seat now. If India is able to take a lead of 150-175 runs and then declare then bowl well, then we have the chance of winning this test match.

India did not get to declare and were bowled out. But the lead of 192 was a very sizeable one. At one stage India could have wrapped an innings victory. But Moses and Lyon are having some fun in the last partnership as India now would need to bat again.
Cheers!

India did really well after the england debacle. It was the master who stood firm against an inspired bowling performane from the aussie, and Dhoni, Kohli built upon the little foundation laid. It was a pleasure to see both scoring century & Dhoni going on to hit a double was just a delight.

Now India had a lead of 125+ runs . This is very nice in Indian point ofview. Still now only eight wickets is fallen. Let's hope Dhoni and Kumar flourish the game.

Well, said Ram.Kohli,Tendulkar and then Dhoni has definitely put India in the driver's seat.Kohli played well and i think could have stayed longer had it not gone for blind shots. But then it was a great hundred from him.Sad to see Tendulkar miss a hundred perhaps yet again. But good innings from him after a long time as well.Overall the batting department was really impressive today. An Indian defeat in this test match is ruled out.Either an Indian win or a draw is what we can expect from this test as we head to day four.It was great to watch Dhoni play a master innings today. He played with great composure and also protected Kumar in the vital hundred run partnership. Dhoni was timing and taking runs as and when needed.Hugh cheers were there when he made it to the double.Even he would have been delighted to get that wonderful double hundred. He also became the first Indian wicket keeper to get to that wonderful and elusive mark.I hope we can get close to 200 runs lead and put opposition to bat.The tactic should be to dismiss the opposition for a lesser score. All would depend on the Indan bowlers especially Harbhajan singh and Ashwin.Hope things will go well. Thanks!

Both M.S.Dhoni and Virat Kohli played superlative innings to take India to a strong position, paving way for India's victory in the first test match, supported by a great show by R.Ashwin.

And now India have won the second test too! And its an innings defeat. Pujara and Murali Vijay scored well with bat- century for Vijay and Pujara scoring a double ton.
Then, Ashwin bowled very well, supported by Ravindra Jadeja. Now, Aussies are in trouble.
Let us see whether they are able to bounce back in the series.
