After almost 5 years in trying, I'm now 15 weeks pregnant! Me and my husband are so happy. Just wanted to share the news to everyone of you here. Also, it's good that I'm not really feeling sick during this time, hopefully it will go through until I deliver the baby. Also any mothers out there can give us advice? Hopefully anyone? Thanks.

Huge congratulations to you both! It was a 5 year wait for our daughter too so I know how you must be feeling. It's great that you're not feeling sick, and I'd be surprised if it happens now you're over the first trimester. Listen to your body;sleep when you are tired, eat whatever your body craves and give up any extreme sports for the duration :-)Being pregnant and giving birth is incredible and I hope you enjoy every second :-)

Thank you very much for the reply, it's great to finally get pregnant after all these years. I'm a bit worried though how I will turn out when I deliver the baby, I know it will hurt but hopefully I can do the push without any problems. Thank you for the advices!

Really? I'm a bit scared though, and nope I haven't been taking classes for that. Guess I have to just give it all my best when I push, hopefully I can do this. Wish me luck!

A good piece of advice is not to listen to other peoples' horror stories about giving birth. Every birth is different and your experience will be unique to you.Natural birth or epidural or anything in between is your choice and there is no right or wrong. We all have different pain thresholds and different ways of coping but overall giving birth is a joyful experience and one I conjure up to calm myself when I'm sitting in the dentist's chair!

Thank you for your advice! Yes I've heard all kinds of horror stories about giving birth, maybe its the tolerance for pain too. Wish me luck though when the time comes, it's my first experience and being is scared is all I can think of right now. Scared and happy, mixed feelings all throughout.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. You shall have balanced diet and make sure you will drink milk, eat the fruit and egg everyday. These food were my routine food when I was pregnant. They would give you enough nutrition. Of course you can also eat whatever you like. But milk, fruit and egg are basic and necessary. You will have an adorable and healthy baby and I look forward to hearing from your good news after that

Thanks for sharing this via this discussion; congrats friend, so it is not the first time you got pregnant, did you had miscarriages in earlier ones; if so you need to be careful; when my wife/daughter in law were pregnant they avoided jumping and lifting heavy things

Congratulations and best wishes for the upcoming child. Not being sick is really good as this can be a nice reward. One of my friends from church is expecting her first one and they just celebrated 7 yrs of marriage, and she is always complaining of morning and day sickness. I know when I was pregnant I was sick as well. Best thing I can advise is look for sales when planning the room for your child. If you look from time to time, you can find some really good deals.

I'm happy for you because finally what you and your husband have been waiting for had finally came. Since this is your first, you have to check with your doctor regularly, to monitor your condition and most especially your baby. Congrats my friend.

Congratulations! Getting pregnant should be a great experience for any mother-to-be, and all the more so in your case that you have been hoping to get pregnant for some time. I would advise you to make sure to look after your health during these nine months and not over exert yourself. You need to maintain a healthy diet, and go for regular check ups at a specialist doctor who would b e able to assess your condition throughout yout pregnancy in terms of weight, sugar levels and other important details. I would also say not to worry too much about the time of delivery - just have faith that everything will turn out great and that in some months you will have a bundle of joy in your arms!

Hello, machatago! Congratulations! You should be eating healthier now for you and your baby. And you should see to it that you are able to go visit your OB GYNE every month to check the progress of your pregnancy. As much as possible do not stress yourself and take as much rest as possible. Indulge on fruits and vegetables instead of meat and sweets. This is one thing that I never did when I was pregnant. I ate a lot when I was already 5 months pregnant. And the food choices were terrible. The end result- I gained 50 pounds and yet my kids was just 6 pounds when he was born. So it was only me who really took the weight.

I am happy for you my friend, because finally your long wish was granted. My advise to you, is just stay happy. Whatever the mother feels, the baby inside the womb feels, so stay happy always and don't worry about anything. God will provide as He has provided you with a baby , finally!

That is great news, congrats. My hubby and I are thinking of having another baby but first I have to pay about 4 thousand dollars to reverse his vasectomy.
