best test innings of Dhoni.........

Hi, Really it was very exciting match. The inning played by Dhoni is very great. Hats off to Dhoni. I am a big fan of Dhoni. in the past he has been criticized badly for his captainship and on his performance but he has proved by his double century that he is the best. He is a captain cool. His and his teams future is very bright. We are very lucky that our team has such best captain.

Dhoni was the big difference between the two teams because he scored his runs at a rapid pace and has brought India very close to victory. The pitch was looking pathetic at the end of day four. Full of foot marks and pot holes. The poor Aussies have been truly outplayed by the individual brilliance of Dhoni and Sachin. The clever Kohli exploited the opportunity to notch up another century. India looked a good tset side after a long time. Ashwin's form is also encouraging as he looks for his 13 th wicket tomorrow.

I agree that this would go down as one of the best test innings by an Indian captain. Undoubtedly Dhoni's best performance as well. I think the only other performance from him at the test level that really stood out was during his early days when he batted with grit to draw a match in England against England scoring 90 odd runs. yeah,really Dhoni eased the conditions for team India. As you said Dhoni came into the pitch when Sachin was pout in a tactful delivery. The pitch was really started to help the spinners. But the way he dominated and humiliated the bowlers, all credits go to him.He had a fine partnership with Kohli.Even though he couldn't make it more with Aswin and Harbhajan as they fell cheaply. Then Dhoni found a perfect partner in Buvaneswar Kumar. Dhoni tried all his best not to reduce the run rate and quickly took the lead, as unassailable lead.

The game was really exciting with his aggressive batting. At first sight, I thought the was slipped from the Indians hand because there was two early fall of wickets and this really shooked every one including me but the players in the middle order managed it. Innings of Sachin ,Kholi and the Indian captain was fabulous. They really turned the game. The partnership between the three players really helped to climb at the top. The Indian captain was the man who acted as a strong Indian wall. His style of batting made test game as a one day with fabulous fours and sixes all along the ground. I hope he will build new terrific record as a captain as well as a good cricketer of the team India. Good Luck

Well,it was Bhuvenash Kumar who is playign this test match and not Praveen kumar.Bhuvenash provided good support to Dhoni.He is capable of playing with bat but then Dhoni shielded him for some reason during his partnership.I think he did not want to lose any more wickets and get more runs on the board.And since Bhuvenash is the last player who can play really well with bat, he thought of not risking things.Coming back to Dhoni's innings, it was epic.He came at a crucial time.He got the runs in no time and paced his innings well.The shots were timed well and it was special double ton.I think if he can stick for some more time tomorrow, a triple century cannot be ruled out.I agree that this has been the best test innings of Dhoni.It was perfect in all sense.And he has also answered well his critics and some of the former selectors with this innings.I think he has lot of things he can contribute more to test cricket as well apart from wicket keeping.And perhaps could be turning point of the test match.It has already tiled well in india's favour.Hopefully the bowlers will helped the team and get the wickets in good time to help us win the test match.Thanks!

Yes, it was a great innings by Indian skipper. Making a double hundred and that too by a wicketkeeper-batsmen who is also a captain is no mean feat. Andy Flower was one such guy who made such big scores. Yet most of his knocks came when he was not the captain. And with team India under such a pressure because of earlier defeat, Dhoni's knock meant a lot.

Virat Kohli too is in a great touch with his second consecutive century.

Dhoni knock was incredible and because of Dhoni we are smelling victory. Dhoni has made a mockery of 200 test inning. He just bludegeoned and every thing went his way. This is not going to happen very often. Aussies will play two spinners from the next match and matches are going to be more exciting.
