Short trip or no trip?

I have met those kind of people and I try to stay away from them even when some belong to my own family. I am very happy that that family can go to Disney, even for a short time. They will have a wonderful experience and will make them save to go for another couple of days in the future.

Some people are just soooo NASTY!!! What a rude and horrible thing for her to say to that lady. I just want to punch her, lol! They are going to have such a great time and I'm sure they'll get their 2 days worth out of it. Bless their little hearts for doing this, and that's what I call a sweet loving family.

Yes there are a lot of people in the world like that sadly. I was thinking with 5 boys I wouldn't last more then two days at Disney World lol I think the 2 days will be perfect for them and as for the other lady she sounds like one of those that likes to spread drama where she goes.

Not ungrateful to this point. It's worth it for two days expecially for the boys. They will never forget this trip to Disney World and they will love it. Having two days away is better then nothing in my opinion. I love to travel so being away from the home for two days would be a blessing to me. I know my daughter is home 24/7 with her two daughters while her husband works twelve hour days. If she was getting a trip like this she would jumb on it even if it was only for two days.

Some people just take pleasure in bursting other people's happiness. I don't know if it is plain envy because someone gets to do fun stuff and they cannot, or they're just plain nasty. Most people do this over a chatroom or any online site because it will be easy for them to hide behind a username.

its sad that people can be that rude this is a family of 7 and i know i come from a family of 7 how hard it was for my parents to get time off at the same time never mind take a vacation no mater what the cost is they should go I use to live in florida and i have been to disney word the kids will love it I just went for the day took in many rides maybe i did not see it all but i had the time of my life and i have no regrets

Yes it was very rude of her to say that! Maybe she was stressing that if they are going to Disney land anyway, they must make the most of it. But she should have said it in a different way so that the other lady wouldn't be hurt. Well, each person has his/her own way of talking, and moreover in chatrooms we don't exactly get to know the tone of the person chatting with us, it's different than a face to face talk.

Once on a Florida trip, I was able to get a half day to spend at Epcot Center. Granted, a few more days to visit the other parks would have been great, but I was happy to get to see it at all. some people just always have to be better....

I DO. iN THE FIRST PLACE IT'S NONE OF THAT WOMAN'S BUISNESS WHAT THEY DO. uNLESS ASK SHE SHOULD KEEP HER OPINIONS TO HERSELF.She sounds like a busybody to me, not my favorite kind of people. I'm sure those 5 boys will have a blast & God bless them for wanting to do that for their kids.

I do know people that are very ungrateful like this. Her boys seem to be very mature and grateful for their ages since they are saying 2 days at Disney is better than no trip at all. Those parents must be raising their kids right and saying it's better to have even something small or for a short time than not have at all. I mean the boys are glad to have even a small trip for 2 days because at least they get to go on a trip where as so many people have it so much worse in life. That mother should be proud of her boys. Also that lady that said it's just 2 days not worth going maybe she was a spoiled child or she is just mean and rude. Either way it is none of her business how long that family goes on a trip. As long as they go and are together and have fun. I mean iv'e been on a trip before that was only for Saturday and Sunday and i loved every minute of it. I mean people should not be so greedy and want more than they get because most people don't even get to go to Disney World. Also some people have it a lot worse and never go anywhere. Again that mother should be so proud of her kids for being so mature and nice about going for only 2 days because at least they get to go.

Well, I know that usually the amusement parks (like Disney World) charge on the first day, while the second is free (if I'm not mistaken!) In the case described in your question, it would seem that this family can afford the short trip. Although short, but worth to be done, this according to my point of view. Each family, you know, has its commitments and its needs. Especially when in a family, there are 5 children!

Hi you should not let That kind of person Get to you.it sound like That nasty lady is Jealuos.with today With how things are. Those kids are lucky That they can go For 2 days.the lady with The kids do they live In florida? If they do Diseny sometimes has Specail rates for the People who live in florida. When I live in fl.if it was your Birthday you could get in free. I live in ny state now.she should Call and see what kind of deals Are going on.and ingore the nasty Lady there always ons a crowd.

I don't know why that was said by you as ungratefulness. The chatter may only have been making a suggestion. As for me, you can reschedule the trip when you have enough to spend so as to get the most out of it.

sometimes we cannot say what's in other peoples mind. in our world there are many kinds of people not only as same at us. same as well complete package, but its only for in outside form, but its more deal on the inner form which is our attitude and you can define and judge the person for it. yes there is lots of ungrateful person and sad to say that's the way how they interact to other people even with their relatives too. thanks

Some people have no idea what real life is like, I think. And so they think that because they can get a week off to go on vacation, everyone else should be able to as well. I am actually looking enviously at Legoland in california. I'd take even just one day there.

A short trip is a good way to have a break for a while, unless you are a home buddy. But traveling would be so advisable. Life is too short, you should enjoy.. xD
