this morning i woke up 6am but i was worried because i have to be at work by 7:30am and the usual travel time i alot is 2hrs. or at least 1 1/2hrs. since we all know that traffic in our country is really a headache. but to my surprise i arrived at boni mandaluyong, at 6:51am. i live in katipunan, so everyday i have to face the traffic. i just realized its EDSA People Power anniversary. it's a working holiday but no classes for students. i just imagined how easy it is to go to work if there's lesser traffic, i wish after the EDSA renovation we'll all have a smooth travel as if its holiday everyday! :)

I was also expecting the malls to be crowded, but then I realized that the students are the only ones who really had the day off and the offices had work today. It was kind nice strolling the mall, actually. Coz it is really hot outside. Feels like summer!

I don't think the traffic jam at EDSA is caused by poor road quality, so I doubt the rehabilitation would finally solve or at least ease the traffic problem. I guess one solution to the EDSA traffic problem is to de-congest Metro Manila. But I guess that is close to impossible given the mindset of both politicians and common people alike. Oh well, after this EDSA day celebration, we're back to the same old headache that is EDSA.

EDSA is a perpetual traffic jam haven. Except during ungodly hours and in that case, a holiday. I think we have too many vehicles in there that sometimes I think no amount of traffic control methods can be effective in helping ease the traffic.
