Rock n' Roll isn't the music of the cheap people

I was watching this love story yesterday and I was pissed off with one adult woman's dialogue, she said, "You listen to Rock n' roll? Why do you waste your time listening to that trashy music? That is the music of cheap people!"
I disagree with that character, Rock n' roll is still music and it is my most favorite genre. It doesn't mean that rock bands are cheap just because they dress like that.

I agree! I also am a fan of rock and roll music and not everyone can appreciate it. Rock especially those songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's all have depth and originality. If i ever hear someone say that rock is for cheap people, I'd kill them! Just kidding

i think rock n roll is not a cheap music, because music doesn't distinguish between classes. music should unite us and not to divide.
