oxtail food in vegas

i love indonesian food especially oxtail soup. i can't find this soup in usa, but finally i can find this soup in vegas. taste good but a bit different.
and hopefully i can find oxtongue one day in usa :)
have you try those soup ? pls share

hi Sishy,
i know about indonesian food in california, i tried them but they just have nasi goreng, gado-gado and etc, just a simple food that i can cook myself.
but not all of them have oxtail soup. and not all of them are good.
do you know about oxtongue soup ?

There was one restaurant called 'Surabaya' in one of the LA suburbs which served good oxtail soup. I'm not sure if it's still there now since it must have been twenty years or so ago when I was last there.
I tried ox tongue, but not as soup. It was more like a steak and tasted pretty good. Have you tried cow brain?

i'm just coming from LA, but i tried another indonesian food. and i found 1 for ayam keremes, hmmmm taste very good. i will miss that ayam keremes.
ox tongue could be cooked with chili too, hmmm i miss it !
hmmm cow brain ? yes i do like it, that is really good and tasty.
i always eat cow brain when i go to padang restaurant.
do you like chicken intestine and beef tripe ?

Unluckily i never tried this soup before but i'll gonna have a try if i get a chance.lol,there are so many different kind of soup in this world need to be found and it's tasteful and nutrious.Really good for you and i can understand it's wonderful to eat food you like in your country.

hi ksktika, I have had oxtail soup many times...but as far
as ox tongue I have never heard of it..and I am sure I am\
not interested in eating any animal tongue...especially knowing
its tongue... Hope you find what you are searching for...
By the way I am in the USA...and oxtail is very popular with
the Jamiacan culture...
