I think there are still some interesting shows. Person of Interest, Burn Notice, and The Following are two. A British show, Murder in Paradise, is also interesting. Leverage was also unpredictable but it has been cancelled, although reruns are still showing. Years ago there was a series called Columbo which I used to think was pretty good. In that case they started by telling you who the murderer was and then you had to watch for 90 minutes to see how Columbo would figure it out. Columbo's mannerisms also made him seem like he was a bumbling idiot which would throw off the killer.
