I study in a university away from my family. Its a new world, scary as well as exciting. Never been on own my own before. Its only been a few months and a violent fighting occured in our university premisses in which a poor girl lost her life. And all in the name of university elections. If our youth behave in this manner what holds the future for our country. seriously what is wrong with us!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation very well and i know u must be having mixed feelings in your mind about studying in a new environment but u have to use this in a positive way for u. I feel bad for that girl who lost for her just due to the elections. This is really a cheap and gimmick thing that takes lives of others.
What say?

Hi there Mbera1990!
I have moved from one house to another for a few times now and it's almost the same feeling. You have fear because you don't know what it will be like in the new place at the same time you are excited because it seems like a new beginning - new place, new friends, maybe new perspective. I think that we should always remember our values, our priorities and it's okay to have fun as long as you are not hurting anyone, and that includes yourself.
