a fresher look to the house. / myLot

i just feel bored of the house and i think i need to do something to make it look better, i dont have too much money to spend at the moment but i hear people say you can make a home look different with repositioning of the furniture and such,please give me the simplest of ideas to give my home a fresher and different look.share with me your home decorating skills.

One need not have the ability to decorate to put a new look into your house. You just have to re-arrange them according to their accessibility and the occupants' convenience. Indeed we become bored with they way our house look if it's always arranged the same way. I always rearrange our bedroom, because it gives us a nice feeling when we see it newly arranged, since it's where we always stay, after work.

Just rearrange your furniture to make your house look different. I do that sometimes when I get bored at the house..

i will try but most of the pieces to be moved are heavy will have to look for help to move some around ,thanks though.

I don't have much skill to share. What I've always found refreshing with my own home is when I declutter spaces in some rooms. I like to use those decorative organizing boxes to put clutters out of sight.

i think decluttering is also one step,i need to get rid of the excess toys and books the kids are no longer using,thanks for that.
