10 dollars from just three articles,I think,is quite impressive an amount.I have a flair for writing,but I have been writing mainly in my mother tongue,Hindi,offline.Recently I have joined three article writing sites;Expertscoloumn,Wikinut and Bubblews.I have already got as many as 23 articles published in Expertscolomn and one each in the other two sites.From the 23 articles,I have earned only some 80 plus cents.
Now I will visit Hubpages and see whether I can join it or not.

For me it is impressive.Had you been active for the whole year,I am sure you would have reached the payout multiple times.Now all you are earning per day,is your passive earning.I take more than 10 days to earn 1 or 2 cents from Expertscoloumn.I think you should increase your activity in the site.

On their site they give you an example of a man that made $1,200 USD last month (in just 1 month). However, he wrote about 300 articles, probably including some really good ones. Hence, it is possible to make a decent amount from their site.

August of this year will make two years on Hubpages for me. I wasn't really active for the first six months or so, but once I started being active I started seeing the rewards. I've received one payment from Hubpages, and I'm close to my second now. Start writing more on there, and interact with the other members, and you'll be cashing out as well. Good luck to you.

I am not a member of hubpages yet but I can hear good thing about the site. It does not matter if the minimum payout is high as long as you know the site is paying.

try writing more hubs which are authentic and interesting. It is really easy to earn revenue from hubpages, i have already cashed out $50 in two months. :)all the best buddy.

I have used Hubpages for 8 Months, So far I have written 14 hubs, All Together 1,243 Views. Mostly I just keep editing my hubs little by little, Putting more info, more media,& Polls. I Link to Facebook but haven't pulled to many hits. I have not found my Niche just yet. Overall I like the Layout and how its user friendly.

Honestly, Hubpages's $50 payout is what lessened my interest towards it. I have not written for quite sometime there now, but I don't have plans to stop either. Whatever money you have earned continues to earn there even if you've stopped writing for some time. I do hope that someday, they'd change their policy and lessen their payout to $20 or $25. A lot of writers there, which includes me, of course, would be much happier if they'd soon do that.
