For me, Napolean Dynamite is my all time favorite for silly, nonstop laughs. I love that dang movie. It's rare I will purchase DVD's for myself but this one was a definite need!

No, I haven't see them. But there are British series on our TV channels, so perhaps one day I shall see them also

I just saw Wild Hogs. I laughed out loud in the theater. I would go see it again. It was very funny. I think they casted that movie perfectly. I haven't seen a movie that funny in a while. We did see Stranger than Fiction. I didn't think that was all that funny. I was disappointed. It was good that after that I saw Wild Hogs. I needed the laugh.

Any movie involving Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Owen or Luke Wilson, or Will Ferrel are pretty much my favorite comedies:) I like the stupid comedy. "Wedding Crashers", "Zoolander", "Keeping The Faith", etc. Did just see "Norbit" and basically laughed so hard over the worst laughs, lol. :)

One of the funniest I have ever seen is Trains, Plains and automobiles. Another one that i really thought was funny was There's Something About Mary. I have not seen Addams Family Values. It does not sound like something I would like. But I have been wrong about movies in the past. Maybe I will give it a watch.

For me it is exactly full monthy.
This is a great black comedy. A bunch of losers down at the job centre have no hopes of getting a job. As the film progresses, it picks up momentum as the big date approaches. Some great scenes of 80's Britain, the job centre, the clubs, the houses with paper-thin walls and low ceilings. You know what the finale is going to be, but it doesn't detract at all from the enjoyment of the film. It doesn't get political, as some other commenters have complained, but why should it? This is about the consequences of 80's Britain, not the causes. The characters are 100% believable, in their appearances and their behaviour. The fat one is the sort you see on a Saturday night in just about every city centre pub in England (and at the football matches too!). A pity some viewers from across the pond couldn't pick up the accents, that's not altogether surprising but consider that this film was probably not originally intended for worldwide distribution and if you had taken the accents away you'd have taken away also a lot of its charm.

I've seen "The full monty" too, and I agree, it was funny, I liked it very much. There IS a difference between English humour and American humour... I've enjoyd some American ones also, but the most of them are made in 50ties of the last century.
That's why I liked at "Addams family values" - there the Americans demonstrated the ability to laugh at themselves (at last the ones who made the film!)
