when do you get more "likes" on Facebook?

I notice that when I rant about something like what I do here, I always get more "likes" on Facebook. However, if my status has something to do with business, nobody will hit the "like" button. So I have decided to rant once in a while. Do you use Facebook to express bottled up feelings, or any observations, etc? I do and people like it more when my status update is about a rant.

Oh the joys of Facebook, now that I have deleted my account, surprisingly or not I don't miss it and certainly don't regret it. If I have a rant I usually come here, although it's not often, usually if I need a rant I find a workout at the gym burns it off, or just by getting behind the wheel of my car will calm me down. Maybe people like to hear you rant, it takes their minds of their problems!

Yeah, I notice that too. They love rants of other people, I don't know why.

I would agree on that, Businesses are boring subjects in facebook especially to friends who are very young, still. :D I think the most of those likes are garnered from the posts or statuses that catches the attention of the people in your friends list. In my facebook history of viewing, the one that i have seen was a post from an officemate, it had about hundreds of likes and about same number of comments too - because it was a controversial topic that concerned a lot of people in our workplace. some who do not even work with us are commenting and was also curious about who the person they were talking about is. Such aa shame that people was participating in making the person (in our office) feel ostracized, whether the rumor is true or not.
