I hope you didn't put any money into the scam. I think I just cried over the food. I can't believe a breeder would actually feed that crap. Is she a registered breeder? Is the caat coming with papers? I would never pay that much without papers. First kittens, and those just being fixed should not use climping cat litter period. I have never tried that cat litter, but I am assuming it's a basica clay, which most likely cause a lot of dust, while either using the litter, or cleaning it which can cause upper respiratory issues for the animal. Also, if they eat it, it can be stuck in their stomach and bowels causing issues, thus why clumping is recommended not to be used - I have seen many cats in the shelter have issues because of this. Friskies is a poor poor quality food, I cry seeing people buy this. You are ultimately causing issues for your cat. It is made with meat by products (leftover meat we can't eat, diseased meat, even meat (household animals as well) euthanized, as well as bull pen*s, and lovely parts as that. It has large amounts of fillers such as corn, to fill the animal up, the feces will slowly move throw the body which may cause issues later in the cats life. Any thing commercial grade such as Friskies, Iams, and so on (anything you buy in the grocery store, or Walmart). I have never heard of nutri source either as we don't sell it here. I couldn't find an ingredients list for it. But make sure the first ingredient is meat, not meat by products nor plant by products, and no fillers either or your asking for health issues.

No, the seller from Craigslist never got any money, bank account or credit card info. The breeder is registered with the Cat Fancier's Association? Not exactly sure if I got that right, I've never had a cat so I'm not too sure. And the kitten will come with papers and she said I'd still be able to show him. I've never heard about any issues with cat food but now that you mentioned it I will try to do a little research on it. Nutri source I've never heard of either but today I'll be going shopping for supplies and I'll look into it some more. All of my dogs I've had have eaten Pedigree or Iams dry food and Alpo or Iams canned food and they've never had any health issues. Now that you brought the issue up I'll check into the ingredients to see exactly what my pets are getting and if it's ok for them. If I see something I don't like in the Friskies, I won't use it for long. I kind of wanted to give him a similar environment that the breeder gave him when he first gets here so it's not such a huge change for him. After a while I might slowly change the food and litter to something that seems to be healthier. Thank you for the advice!!

I ended up buying that kitten because I liked the breed of cat. They have round faces that are much cuter than regular cats. After seeing those kittens, the cats at the shelters just seemed to have triangular, pointy faces that weren't as cute

Thank you :) He's a British shorthair. It's the same type of cat they use in the Iams commercials. I fell in love with the breed because they have round, full faces that look like they're smiling. Their markings are beautiful too because they have gray fur with black swirly stripes and spots
