I Wonder If You Really 'Need' a Space Before a HashTag on Twitter?

Because--if you DON'T need a space before a hashtag on Twitter--you don't have to waste any of the 140 characters you're allowed on unnecessary spaces! ('Hashtags' (words with '#' before them) let you link your tweets to other tweets that use the same hashtags. When I link to one of my started-discussions here from Twitter, I add hashtags to link to the discussion from topics of similar tweets. (Eliminating spaces between those tags may give me space to add another word or two within the 140 characters Twitter allows!) Any other ways you can think of to use the space better?

First of all, it's only one space. However, if you are using several keywords, just don't use a comma in between. If you don't use a space #between #hashtags then you're going to #end#up#with#one#long#run-on#tag. Not pretty is it? You can also #word your #tweet to include the #hashtags so that you don't need to add them at the end.

Yeah, that (inserting hashtags in the 'title'-text) is how I usually do it. Thanks!
