while surfing internet i cam through an article named lucid dreaming. On reading it i came to know that one can control what he does in his/her dream and this art is known as LUCID DREAMING. I went through various ways to lucid dream. But I just thinks that it is time waste. I just want to know if anyone of you has been able to dream lucidly.

Yes, I read a book about Lucid Dreams a long time ago, and I was able to control my dream one time after doing what the book said. However, you have to be able to sleep without being interrupted, and I was unable to do it anymore because of having kids & pets.
It's amazing to do. In your dream you actually know you are dreaming and you take control of what happens next.
I wish I could do it again, but now I'm married and my husband snores and I wake up too much.

Actually there's so many resources around regarding Lucid Dreaming. You can found active community here at dreamviews.com.
Of course it's not that easy to start doing lucid dreaming and not all dream can be lucid if we don't practice it often. You can train them however. For example it's useful when you had bad dream. The key of lucid dreaming is trying to find your own key so that when you are in dream you know that it's a dream rather than reality.
Because in dream you will always found something not at place or weird, that will help you realize that you are dreaming and later you might have find a way to control the dream it self.

yea i read about that too. The adviced to adopt some reality check habits like pinching yourself cause then you are likely to do it when you are in dream and you will come to know that its a dream. i've been practising it. Lets hope it gives me some result. :)

Hi,
I have lucid dreams many times. It is very interesting experience. i think lucid dreams are those dreams which we are willing to complete in our life. And so we can control them as if we are not sleeping and doing all the things in reality.

well i have never actually 'tried' a lucid dream but it just happened to me many a times. once when i was in a train asleep, i had a dream that i was stealing money, i read long ago that this dream brings about misfortune in waking life so i controlled my dream by finding the person and giving him the money back and asked for forgiveness. i do not know yet if i had driven my misfortune away, but the sorry thing made me feel good though it was a dream. so stop trying, it will happen to you one day all by itself. good luck...!!! :)
