Just now finished my cloths washing using my hands. Very tired so am resting while writing here. Back pain now felt because of bulk clothing. Can't imagine my two weeks used clothing, I finished to wash it in two hours. Thanking God for the strength and happy mylotting to all.

Yes, if you keep your clothes for too long, it is going to get a lot and it will definitely be more tiring when it's the time to wash them. Besides that, clothes especially the white ones may go brownish too when you put that long. That is why it is more advisable to wash your clothes more frequently such as washing them once every two or three days. That way you won't have to wash too many clothes.

I sympathize! I've washed clothes by hand and I've used a scrub board, which didn't help all that much. It's a hard job, but I kept telling myself that women used to do it all the time and it didn't hurt them.
I don't think I could do two week's worth in a couple of hours, though, at least not any more.

I don't like washing clothes by hands. It is not only tiring, but also I think it is not clean enough. This is why the washing machine is one of the most electrical appliances at home. Everyday we just use it to wash our clothes. It is much more convenient because all you have to do is just to press the button.

Congrats Wendy! I know how happy you must be feeling. You have finished a heavy task. I remember 15 years ago I used to handwash, my hands were burnt because of water, soap and cold weather, they bleeded sometimes. But 7 months after, my hubbie bought me a washing machine. We bought mine in a sale, and sold the old one. You may try to look for a good washing machine, mine worked for 11 13 years. I´ve changed it last year.
If you can´t afford one, at least you can use one in some laundry place if you feel very tired, or if you lack of time.
Good luck, relax and pamper yourself now!
Blessings Wendy...dainy

I used to hand wash my working/outing clothes due to its soft materials
which is not so suitable to machine wash. However those clothes wear at home
my husband will mixed with other clothes to put in the machine. It is quite tiring
if you wash a big loads by hands. Two weeks clothes is a lot. I normally wash twice
a week in the morning (before work) or evening (after work). I normally wash less than 10 pieces so that I won't feel too tired and no taking too much time. I can't wash on weekend because my husband and my sister will have lots and lots of laundry.
No place to hang and not enough hangers and cloth pegs.
