First Love

Hey mylotters!
Meet Sheena. She's my first love. The last time I saw here was on our high school graduation last April 2005. We had no communications after that day.
One day, when I was assigned in our branch office, I saw this woman who looked like Sheena while I was on a bus back home. The bus stopped in front of the house of Sheena' grandmother. That same house was the place where she stayed when we were in high school. When the woman entered the bus, I wasn't able to see her face clearly but I felt that it was her. I was very nervous by that time.
When the bus arrived at the terminal, I tried to find a way to see her face. I saw her face from a distance but and the more that I felt it was her. What puzzled me was the fact that I was really nervous that time. What I felt that time was exactly the same with what I felt before whenever I see her and I'm with her.
(NOTE: She wasn't became my girlfriend though I courted her before and we only became closer when we were about to graduate.)

You saw her, then what happened? Did.'t you have the courage to approavh her? I am sure she'd be happy to ser you ahain after so many years. After you wete friends, right?

Yes we were good friends as I became involved in helping her with her math subjects before. I just didn't have the courage to present myself that time. Maybe I'm just a shy person,hehe
Anyway, I found her account on facebook and maybe one day we can communicate each other and be good friends again.

Well I think the same as well, most peoples will be glad if they met their first lover even though many had bitter experience with them.
Besides meeting old acquaintances would sometimes bring old memories whether it's good or bad. But by doing so you might as well gain some wisdom regarding what your life has been during the period you are not with them.

maybe because when you saw her, all those unresolved feelings you had for her just came back to the surface, its okay and normal to feel that way especially if there's no one after her, or is there? or just because it's been too long and meeting your high school sweetheart again after a long time can really sent butterflies in your stomach.
But i suggest, befriend her again to make sure whether its unresolved love of you're just nervous because its been a long time after all. If you both are single then maybe you can continue where you had left off before (after graduation). God bless you

Well, I am now married and she's still single. There are indeed some unresolved issues in my part between us because I was really trying to court her again before our graduation but I did not found a chance. Right after the graduation she left our place and went to her family hundreds of miles away.
While in college, we were also several miles away and had no communications. Maybe I was nervous just because of that long time that we haven't met.

hi jearl02, try to court her again there is no hard in trying. if the results is positive then congrats! but if she turn you down just accept it because we cannot please everybody. maybe she is not ready to get into a relationship. try to invite her for a date sometime.

Actually, that happened when I was just 3months married.
I believe that I have done the right thing when I decided to end my years of courting her. I just want now to make her my friend. Anyway, your idea has been perfect if I'm still single by now.
