I read a bible verse daily do you? How do you keep close to God?

Simply a reading is not only sufficient thing for us. We will get good result only by doing good deeds.... Read bible....once daily.....Do favor for others more than once a day please... We should make our life enjoyable only by obeying others at their sins... Try to forgive others mistakes and guide them in a proper way that you follow.

When i wake up every morning i thank God for another day. I do not have set times...but i do talk to God through out the day. I try to read the Bible at least 1/2 hour every day. I also pray every night before i go to sleep.

HI I read my Bible every morning too. I never used to since a year ago. I have learned you always put God first and make time for him. Since I have been reading my Bible every morning I find it hard now not too. I also ask God to open my heart and help me to understand his word,for me it helps me to start my day on a positive note!

I try to make God first in the morning and then all day long. He is important in my life and I am am not perfect but I'm so glad He is. I want Him to guide my life and I know I don't always following His guidance, not because I don't want to. but the advisory is also trying to influence us and does not want us to follow God. Being human he knows just the right things to temp us with to make that happen. Having our thoughts on God and asking Him to guide us is a 24/7 thing. We can do it in just a moment with little things, a quick pray to ask with help when we do something, a quick guide to what to say when someone is hurting, a reminder that those we meet could be angels unaware. He is with us all day long, we just have to hook up with Him.You are on the right track and I'll pray for you and ask all of you to pray for me.

I hold spiritual matters up close and personal,I make sure i interact with God through prayer every day,in the evenings after every work day i kneel besides my bed and take time to pray to GOD,This is a culture i have cultivated over the years and have experienced great things in my life....emmaxwell

i have my daily devo... i sing praise to the Lord, and pray.

i read a verse each day (usually from biblegateway) and i usually try to read a devotional each day but unfortunately am not always successful. i also pray first thing in the morning and before i go to bed plus several times throughout the day.

I have a bible reading system in my bible, where I read from the old and ew testament each morning before i even get online. I pray before i read the bible as I ask God to give me guidance, an also I pray for those on my prayer list. I find that reading the bible does draw me closer to God, as if i didn't have the bible or God in my life, I would totally be lost without either.
