A pleasant day Fellow Mylotters,
I do believed that each one of us has its own level of stress to handle. Especially those who are working double time to earn more money. But, what if a certain situation approach you and this leads you to feel too much stress. I do understand that all types of work has its own level of stress. However, what if the work you do drives you to be mad every hour of everyday then at the end of the day, your day was totally ruined. Would you still consider this type of job. I mean, is there any soft spot in your heart to still do this job. As my end here, I am somehow confused. The job that I am handling now always pushes me to my limits. And because of this, I am thinking to quit as my salary is not that high and the experience is not too material to think even. Plus, their accounting records was disorganized.

Wow a very good post. I had a stressful job and woke up one morning crying and jut couldn't face going into work. I had a talk with myself and my husband. I decided after reviewing the situation with myself (yes that is possible), I decided my Heath was worth more than the income. My husband agreed with me. It took time to find a less stressful position but it was the best thing I did for my own sanity.
You can't get up in the morning crying and still go to work, at least in my case I couldn't. It is however, a judgement call. Heath vs. money.
If you can afford to quit and look for another job then it would ok to leave. If not and money is an issue then save a little out of your paycheck and once you have enough saved then it might be possible to rethink your situation.

maybe you may just think of your job as a challenge.then when you get a new job im sure it will be much more easier foryou to do all the work because you have made to some disorganized accounting.but then if you are not happy with your work it is much better to find a new one that you will be happy.

it sounds in every bit an disinterested worker in what s/he does. well, i have no right to pass judgment, but as long as we gain something or we get paid from the organization, we must control ourselves to unleash our dissatisfaction and frustration. either you want to change the organization or yourself, do what you've got to do. if you want to change the organization, then let the management know what you feel and propose improvements. if you want to change yourself, then get out and explore other options for you.

Quit your job, now! Im sorry but i strongly believe that Hapiness is the ultimately key to Success! the fact the you obviously are not happy on that job will hinder you to grown and be successful. Stress is different i believe, from being unhappy on what you are doing. There are other jobs there that will be worth of your time and hapiness, that will not ruin your day and that job will find you if you start finding it too, soon as you decide for yourself. :0)

Well first of all it's your life to begin with so please understand that each of any comments here might as well regarded as an opinion rather than suggestion.
Many peoples will be forced to stay at their current job if they had less opportunity to find replacement job elsewhere. So if you think you are good enough then you do have a good choice of leaving.
Some peoples also had to stay on their current job if their current economic situation is not good and they had urgency with money. So as long as you don't have this kind of situation I think you have better chance of leaving the current job.
For a fraction of peoples just loved their work you know the workaholic type. If you are not this type of person then you could always try the second chance elsewhere.
As for my self I have stopped working in a company last year. The reason is simple because I valued time more than money and I do love simple life by working remotely or self employed. Of course I do have my expertise to help me through it all and I do have my years of experience doing freelancing which start from my college years.

Sure no problem, mate. It's always a pleasure to help others in needs.
Although in the end you are the one who must face the problem and face the consequences that's why I stated earlier that all of this just an opinion because anything could happen in this life. Me, myself always try to treat each hurdle as a lesson since whether it's bad or good that's just how The Lord loves us. They gave us hurdle to make us stronger right ;)

I have had a job that was like that. It was very stressful to work at a place like that and when I got back from work I didn't get much out of the day. I was exhausted and kept on thinking about the next day where I would have to spend the time at that place again. When I found another job, I left the stressful job, it was such a relief to get away from that place. In your situation I would make a list in order to discover my thoughts and wishes. Write down the positive and the negative things about staying in your current job and the positive and negative things about leaving and compare the lists. That might help you to see things more clearly and make a decision.

Well, if that is your everyday scenario who should think about it.. Remember life is short, you should enjoy you life though you are working.. its a matter of choice how to manage your life without stress..
Try to look for another job, I know it is not easy but there is no harm in trying .. Good luck to you!

Hi aira,I do understand your feeling.Handling such things which makes you unhappy and stressed is terrible .
More or less,Your situation is similar to me.I do not enjoy my job time any more, but it has nothing to do with with the salary though it is lower than majority companies. The key factor is working environment,at here ,most of people need working time.According to statistics,I have to work 55 hours every week.
Sadly, people in order to make more money ,they choose to work overtime continuelly.
Thus, the annual average salary is far more lower than other firms, how come many people still finding a job at here.

You say you hate your job and your salary is not good enough. You might have other options. I think having a horrible job is better than starve because you don't have anyone. But if there is another option for you, even if it's a risky one, you have to consider it. Think at all your options, and eventually make a list with advatages and disadvatages. It will show you the way. Also try to search for another job while you are still doing this one. Maybe something else will pop out.

I think you should gather your courage and continue your work. Side-by-side you should keep looking for a job that you would like to do. as soon as you get that job, just leave it. till then i prefer you to join yoga classes that will keep your level of stress at at low. Hope that will help...
