Death is better than slavery...agreed???

I have never known anybody who has been a slave although history books would tell us that during the old days, there were a lot of slaves fro different parts of the globe. And I guess, from a slave's point of view, they would choose to die rather than be alive and feel the torture and the torments from those they worked for. It is simply ending their agony.

i think that i need to agree with you,we are born free in the world,and no one should slave us because of their own reason,but slavery started before and there were many people who have been slave before,so its more thankful now because slavery has begone partially.

If I was born in those days , I would be a rebel slave lol , I would take a lot down before they take me down but I would not stand for torture . So thinking form a slave point of view I would rather die . I think slave are still around just in a different sense , there are young girls being sold everyday .

I don't know about that. To me it's the same as giving up.

uh... somehow Indonesian workers treat like a slave in other country it is sad to know that but they need it to feed their family hope their kids can live freely

It happened in the old days which I think should not have happened. We all are born equal and none should be regarded better than the other. What others can do we can also do and sometimes even better. It only depends on the person how he/she handles whatever tasks he/she wants to accomplish. Slavery exists then because they let themselves to be slaves, but if they have known their rights I thinks it would not had happened. Or maybe they thought they are not gifted as like their masters. Sorry but I don't agree with your statement, people today are more learned than before and they know their rights.
