Work for me in the past couple of days has been really tough.......

Until today has come along and I feel like finally someone is hearing me or something, or they realized there needed a change or something. I must say its about freaking time. Why did it take so long for them to realize this. What I'm talking about its been real tough for me, because I and other people have just been getting yelled at because stuff is not getting done. Well, I'm first like hello, I am only one person. And plus there is only 3 people here and we are trying to work double time to get things done. I'm just like man, first we need more people. Secondly, I'm going as fast as I can go and I can't go any faster. What am I speedy gonzales. Then I look at my team mates and maybe one, is just working way too slow and is taking his time on things and I'm like is he doing this on purpose does he not care any more. And I'm like okay really, I feel like they are looking at us all as a team (and yesterday I did not think that was for. Cause some people not gonna mention any names, but like you guys know who I'm talking about is not working to their full potential) and it just seems like 2 people are doing most of the work. But anyways, I was ready to throw in my towel, I mean I was going to keep on trying of course, but no longer was I gonna bust my hump and try any harder when I'm already working my hardest to get things done. I was done, I was like if they fire me, then go ahead I don't care any more. Yell at me, fire me go ahead.
Well today my team lead came into work, and he gave us a break down of new things to start happening. I'm like oh please let it be good. Anyway, before we worked as a team in different departments. We worked in departments together, finished together, go to the next department together. Now they are wanting to break us up in different departments. Each person will be assigned a department. We were each handed a tablet and a pen. We get to document the department we worked in and when we finished. What we did in that department and if things weren't found. We'd write that and just move on. So basically these documentations, are something that is covering our butt. Oh thank you Lord, I was saying to myself. There is only one thing I will take blame for and that was doing one step that I always forgot. Now I am working on to fix it and I mentioned this to the team lead and he says well I have definitely seen an improvement. Cause he always used to get yelled at for that one step I always forgot. That I will take the blame for. But for things not getting done, I say 20 percent I'll take blame for, but I have been working my fastest and hardest and it'll show in my documentation. So I won't take much blame for that. But finally, they will start looking at us individually and yell at us individually (not sure if I like it but I'll take it, if I do something wrong, please yell at me or tell me something so I can fix it.) and not as a team. About time. I started feeling yesterday that I was going to get fired for the team not finishing. But not any more.
And oh, yippee, we got a new team member. I'm so happy, they are keeping their word with hiring new people. Yess!!!! Don't know much about her, the other girl I started with said she was kind of slow. I was like well what do you expect she just started, give her time. I remember at one point we were slow. I remember that one day her and I spent a whole 12 hours trying to get work done. Omg, that was a crazy day. Till that day, they never let us stay longer then 1 hour over. Lol.
So today was a better day then yesterday. Yesterday, I got yelled at by that lady I didn't like, well me and the other team member. Cause work wasn't finished. Ugh, but now if I don't finish my assigned work, then I okay they can yell at me. Lol.

hey there! im glad its almost over for you, at least you are now having such a wonderful time in the office. usually coming from a work load that is too much and it would be lessened, it is such a relief right? its good you no longer stay more than an hour at work... that would be really stressful if that happens. :D Have a great day!

Yeah, I think if I had to stay for 12 hours every day or even 10 hours I'd be way stressed out. But I'm glad that now they say an hour and that's it. But now they expect us to finish in 8 hours. But I'm definitely sure I can finish my workload assigned to me, in the allotted time. I'm not worried about it so much any more. A lighter workload for me definitely.

I am glad they took the suggestion that Target needs to hire more people. I guess they were trying to see how you handled too much work to know whether any of the team were lazy, and who were not, like you. I am glad that you are willing to take the blame for your errors and let the others take the blame for theirs. I think the employers are checking to see who they can trust and as for you working in different departments, they are trying you all out to see what department you are best suited for.
