I really have budgeted my money and thought it would really be quite alright to spend a little for something. hay i think I have miscalculated my own money and have gone about $20 over budget starting April. I hate it when I have to do this... and now i have to sacrifice something so i won't miss out payment on my credit card bill. Its just so frustrating. How could i have missed out calculating correctly. It is just now that this has happened to me. =( I am so frustrated and worried myself because I rarely miss out payments and I am worried I might have to take out a little on payments due to my account/s. Say pay $10 short and then just pay it soon as my mylot earning arrives. =( Have you ever had something like this happen to you? How did you handle such? Any help and online earnings suggested would be appreciated much. thank you so much!

Well that happens but at least you are made aware what has happened and what you can do to correct this. This is a good habit that you budget and monitor what you spend with your money so you wont be wondering what happened and where it went without any budget at your hands. Let this be a lesson to you so you can avoid the same situations. I do not think you need to get frustrated because what was done was done and nothing you can do about it anymore. So for now do what you need to sacrifice and get over it past is past.

Well it made an impression on you and you learned from it I think that is what is important with that and it is time to really move on. You cannot undo the past but you can do something in the present and future so focus on it instead.

Hi Chiy ! Usually i experienced this during Holiday Season only. When we used to eat and buy the food that we wanted because it was Christmas and we need to give gifts to everybody. I don't do budgeting in this season for i believed this is the time for extravagance. Following month would be my hard month , many bills to settle but its okay ,i'll go back to my principle , "know your needs ands limit wants".

Yeah we have had this happen before. It is frustrating to miscalculate things. Like you mentioned then we have to take out money from another bill and try to pay it later. It does though make us feel behind for a while until we are able to catch up and get back on schedule.

I hate getting behind on bills that is why it really bothers me. I am not comfortable knowing that I have b unresolved items to think about. I amb always b the b type who wants everything cleared out and no pending payments due. I really have to try and just focus on where I can get what I need for the supposed bill I have delayed. Thank you so much for b your b responses and have s very great day.

Yeah, usually I budget and over budget sometimes, especially when I bought some unexpected ones. And recently I’m not doing that anymore, though I think that I better to budget again soon, because now I’m wondering where my money is going. It spent really fast….

Hehe that is nice that you even considered to divide your wallet for the separation of bills and payments required. I think you are a very organized person. Hehe I t has happened to me a few times too that the money I allotted to savings had to be withdrawn because I lost track of my spending too.

My husband and i just started budgeting the money coming in. We went to MINT.COM. This allowed us to add our bank accounts and credit cards to it so that we could see where all our moeny is going. Not using cash and just using our debit/credit cards to keep track of our spending. The great thing about Mint is that you can create your own budget and name your own category if they dont have what you what. We also went to YNAB. This is a free trial thats just 20 bucks for a one time fee. Here they teach you that EVERY DOLLAR YOU MAKE GETS A JOB!! So when you get payed, all yout money gets accounted for till your left with a 0 balance. If you want to go out to eat, then monthly you add money to that budget, shopping, bills, gas, etc. it helps. SOmetimes we get payed, pay our bills, then look our account and see a remaining balance. THen we think that we have enough to get some shoes or out to eat. This is where our money goes. UNLESS you stick to your plan.... Hope this helps... We are teaching our kids to budget their allowance as well (getting them prepared for the real world... lol -Nikki-

I am very good when it comes to budgeting (thank God!) I've never really miss out when it comes to calculating my budget. Even if there are so emergency expenses that come my way, I always do have some money kept for that purpose. I hate seeing my finances messing up so I make it a point to not spent beyond my means. This is the reason why I don't have credit card. It is a tool that invites people to spend more than their earnings. So never did I own a credit card. I've rejected all credit cards offer that comes my way. Instead, I am using debit card so all my expenses are just debited from my bank account. So I live without any single debt. My online earnings? They go straight to my bank for additional savings.

Hi there salonga! It usually is not a problem for me as i do manage my finance well... however having an extra fund is something that i haven't done lately because the money is tight these days and everything was allotted to something. i will bounce back. I promise I will be able to do this and hopefully i would be able toget back on track. I am just giving myself this year and its all going to be great thereafter.

I have at times burst my budget and would have to sacrifice certain things till I have balanced it. As for your credit card, one alternative is to pay the minimum sum first and come next payment, make sure pay it in full. While you might have to incur some interest, make this as a lesson to ensure that you keep to the budget.

That is one thing that I dread. So, I really try to make sure that I am always within my budget coz I don't want to be asking either from my mom or in laws help when it comes to paying the bills. Mylot earnings is a big help really.

i had this in mind too. I have computed how much i will save if i walk going to and from work. i am only able to save about a few hundreds of pesos each week. so about Php200.00 but then yeah that is sure something worth as a payment. my meals are at 100 a day so i will cut that down too. Actually I have already only been eating watermelon that costs 10.00 and it sure was already a lot of money saved for a time. haaa i will worry on the next month again soon. =( Wish I could have more income generating sites...

I just went over how I did this month and so far I'm happy to see that I'm right on the budget. So now I can go into the next month without having to carry over some over spending and hopefully I can also always be right on the budget again. I hated myself one time when I missed a credit card payment by a day and had some substantial amount of late fees added to my account.

yeah!! that was what is worrying me sishy.. if i missed a bill it will be carried over the next month and it is added with a fee. so i will pay off credit card in full and will sacrifice my phone bill to the next. i guess often there has to be sacrifices made. Hopefully my earnings from mylot next month will help me stretch my budget even more. =) i just wish that i could also have a steady income online. thing about mylot is that we have to wait every 15th of the next month for the earnings to be reflected. its such a long wait when you need to pay off something that can't wait. =(

Hi, I also have this experience. Sometimes we have to make some unexpected expenses and they are unavoidable and our expenses go beyond our budget. I am not very much dependent on on line earnings. I work only on mylot. I spend money carefully and save it which will be helpful in dealing with unexpected expenses.

Thank you roshigo. I guess I know now that bi should always put an allowance to what I do in allotting my money or Budget so I will have the emergency fund I need just in case. This has caused me worrying bit Good would make you think of what you should do and I know he is going to help me.

I can't blame you that missing that chiyosan. I think everyone has its own experience on it, and so am i. I am my own boss when it comes to finances and i have a full control of everybill that come and go. sometimes it is the too much analization of some things that we are not aware of, and the reason why we are missing something, or miscalculating our budget for a span of time. As much as we make schedules and plans our finances, some events would not allow us to anticipate to happen.

This is what I was referring to. I have carefully thought of the finances and which goes where. But often or is just these things happening beyond our control that allows us to be off at times. I have thought of what my solution is going to be and hopefully I would be able to pull it off next time. Thank you your responses have a great Day.

I usually do this over the weekend but I'm so busy these days that I would jot all things into scraps of paper and turn them into a single document if I have time. I hope I could do it soon because I'm wondering where the heck the money in my wallet is going. Have to do that(that's personal budget) and the household budget.

Hi jeanne! thank you for your response. I guess many of us does budget and sometimes there are just unfortunate things happening that sure allows us to lose control of the cash flow. =( it was sad i had to pay for something that i did not or was not able to include it on my list. arghh its frustrating i wish i know exactly where to collect the money. =(
