I think the most interesting is the category keyword. For my country -- France -- the top 3 categories this week are aviation, acdc and poster. For each category you can also see what was sold in the past 15 days when you are logged in -- Search Options - Completed listings - Show items --. I wish you to do good sales on Ebay.

I am not an ebay seller myself, but I would disagree that there is a thing that everyone wants and needs. We all need food, we all need somewhere to live, but none of these things can easily be sold on ebay.
On ebay people are selling not things that are needed but things that are wanted, though of course in the process of wanting something there can be things we need, to fulfill that want.
But I am not sure it is a good idea to search for the one thing that everyone wants and needs, its probably better to know the limitations of the products you sell, and you do seem to be doing well without the elusive product that everyone wants. So I would just keep on doing what you are doing, and who knows you may stumble across the perfect product for you to sell. Which could be a very popular product, or a niche product, after all lots of people sell popular products, whereas niche products, where less people want to buy them, also may well have less people selling them, and lots of people are successful selling that way.

Hi,
Almost everyone wants a new laptop, cellular phone or iPad. They sell like hot cakes everywhere, in the mall, streets, and eBay. Gadgets are in these days, they don't mind spending a fortune for things whose depreciation cost can come down in a month or so due to newer versions or damage. Jewelries, the queen of shoppers has been deposed by these electronic gadgets, their value still at a premium but the demand has gone down lower in the priority of buyers these days.

Hmmm never thought of it that way. I guess it never crossed my mind women shop that much... Well I do believe it is true my step mom has nearly put herself into debt from all her shopping extravaganzas.
