In a situation like this, you need to think things through. Weigh your options. What will be the effect if you hold on to it? What are the consequences if you decided to give up on it? If ever you decide to give up on it, will it make you happy? Will there be a big change that you think you can be able to start anew?

Hey Susan.
You would hold on of course! If you drop, then you have given up....
My daughter recently signed up to play basketball (only because she had a new pair of jordan sneakers). Once she was in the game (for the first time), she realized that she didnt like it and that she wanted to quit. Her dad and I sat her down and told her that in this life you will come across decisions that will lead you to quit. This will only get you to that point of giving up and not sticking it out. At the end of the day and when you look back, you can pat yourself on the back and say, "i did it. I accomplished something that I wanted to give up on."
If we as adults fail and give up, then our kids will learn from this and do this as well. This is only teaching them to do the wrong thing.
When sticking to your task or whatever it may be, it allows you to grow from that place (that place on which you want to give up at). This places where we want to give up on, we can actually learn something about ourselves.
Ask yourself this, "WHY?" Why do I want to give up or drop? When you get your answer, then ask another why. You keep going till you get to the root....
hope this helps,
-NIKKI- :)

depends on the situation. If its unhealthy to hold on anymore and its hurting me to the point that I don't know why i'm doing this anymore i would give up but if i can still go on then i fight. But whatever my decision will be i always pray and ask for His guidance. I always bear in mind His promise that we can do all things in Christ who gives us strength. He will never leave us nor forsake us. If we can't anymore, He will fight our fight.

If I want something badly I will succeed. If I do not succeed I don't want it that badly and I am not willing to make sacrifices, give up things and work hard. I would not give up on it but look or ask other people for different ways. Since other people try other things as I would.

i should try first all the possible solution for that situation, and ask the help of my friends and family, but if still it won't work, then its time for me to give up the that situation and move on.

I think that it depends on the situation. Sometimes I made a goal that was too hard to achieve and I have to adjust it if I want to succeed. In those situations I don't think that it is wrong to give up and change the goal. Maybe another goal is more realistic than the original goal.
In other situations I would prefer to keep the same goal and change my approach. If the things that I have done so far didn't lead to the result that I hoped it is sometimes a sign that I need to change my approach and find a different way to achieve the goal. I think that we can learn something from the failures as well and through the failures we dicover the things that don't work and we learn that we have to do things in a different way in order to succeed.

Nope, never give up because giving up means you failed yourself on that. You have to hold on and try harder, you will eventually progress and become better in time. Key is to have patience and of course hard work in any you do.
