I read the schedule wrong went in an hour early. I ended up coming back home for the hour it's a 7 minute drive home, and another back. I forgot my phone charger as well, I usually sit on my phone when no customers are around (I am looking at an ipad soon). If I had a key I could of went to my brothers house.

That is a good idea, I mixed this week up with next week. But then my boss wrote my hours wrong saying 3pm - 8pm, instead of until 6pm.

Atleast its a 7 minute drive back and forth. My husband drives about an hour and 20 mintue to and from. I always take my charger with me. Oneday my car stopped working while I was taking my kids to school. I was fortunate to pull over to a good spot. Called to get someone over there where I was. They told me it would be about an hour (had my own mechanic, well trusted). I have an iphone so it was no problem to wait. Bus came to pick up kids from where I was. So that was great. Only problem? My battery was low, so I couldnt watch movies or surf the net, nothing. So now I make sure I take my charger and that its fully charged before I leave the house.... lol -NIKKI-

I could never drive that distance to work and back everyday, I would be so exhausted, and think about the cost. But I usually remember it, but sometimes when I finished 1 job I rush to my other job which was the case.

But if you'd gone to your brother's house, you wouldn't have gotten your phone charger...

When I was last working outside the house, I was able to make my own schedule, so if I was to get there early in the morning, that would mean that I was able to leave earlier in the afternoon and that is the kind of thing that I would do from time to time. However, if I was working in a situation where I had a true schedule and I was to show up at work an hour early, I would ask the manager or supervisor if there was anything that I could do for that first hour if I was to go ahead and clock in early.

I am a person who either reaches just on time or gets late. I hate reaching early and waiting.

How do you hold a job? Most places would fire you on the spot. I hate people like that, and hate waiting for them.

Oh usually i come to work early. i think i even was able to come to work about 2 hours earlier when i had to do something. it is normal for some of us to come early and have breakfast first, etc. If it was me, it i have to drive, or if i have to at least be bothered just to go back and get my things tha ti left, i would not bother anymore. =( heheh im just lazy.
