Is it right to love your spouse more than your parents ?

When you are married and responsible for a spouse and family, they always come first. Your parents are responsible for themselves and you really owe them nothing but your respect if they deserve it. If you have a husband or wife, you must always put your spouse first. That means even if you have children. Many marriages fail because a parent will choose the kids over his or her spouse. Your job as a parent is to prepare your children to make it on their own and if your marriage is a poor example, how do you expect your kids to grow up and have a good relationship?
